Mark Andrews (hand) is practicing in full for Week 4 against the Titans.

The Ravens seemingly forgot about Andrews when they first posted their injury report, only noting his injury and status in a post 40 minutes after the initial run. In their defense, Andrews has been pretty forgettable this year, catching 13 passes for 122 scoreless yards. The hand injury shouldn’t be an issue this week, but he’s still stuck in the TE2 ranks versus Tennessee.

Andrews missed part of this game with a hand injury but returned to catch two passes for a total of 15 yards in the second half. Andrews has yet to find the end zone this season and hasn’t gone for more than 49 yards in a game. There’s not much for fantasy managers to rely on here heading into next week’s game against the Titans.
  • BAL Tight End #89
Andrews returned to the field midway through the quarter. He saw three targets before leaving the game in the first half, but it seems unlikely he will see many more targets at this point. The Ravens have attempted just 11 passes through nearly three full quarters of play.
  • BAL Tight End #89
We’re not quite sure what happened here, but Andrews was not on the field for the Ravens’ fifth drive of the game, with the team announcing soon after that he would be questionable to return. The veteran tight end caught 1-of-3 targets for nine yards before exiting.
  • BAL Tight End #89
Andrews was targeted four times on the Ravens’ first four possessions, with his biggest play coming on a 10-yard reception to start a drive that ended with a Derrick Henry touchdown. Andrews caught a 14-yard reception on the Ravens’ final drive of the game as they tried to mount a comeback, but the drive ended on an interception by Lamar Jackson three plays later. Andrews has caught 10 passes for 98 scoreless yards on 13 targets through his first two games. It’s decent production for a tight end, but he continues to look like a shell of the player he once was. He’ll be a boom-or-bust TE2 in Week 3 against the Cowboys.
  • BAL Wide Receiver #4
Flowers entered the season at the tail end of a rehab program for the hamstring strain he suffered on August 31st. He logged two full practice sessions before dominating the Colts early on in Week 1. Unfortunately, Flowers balled too hard, aggravating the hamstring injury in the process. He is unlikely to play this week, but his return to practice today is a great sign for his Week 3 availability. The Ravens placed WR Ja’Kobi Lane (wrist) on injured reserve this week. This means WRs Rashod Bateman, Elijah Sarratt and Devontez Walker could be asked to step up, although TE Mark Andrews will probably serve as the team’s top pass-catching option.
  • BAL Wide Receiver #4
Early reports regarding Flowers’ health and Week 2 availability were positive, but two missed practices put him firmly in the questionable camp, with a lean toward sitting. Flowers and TE Mark Andrews banked six targets apiece last week and were the only Ravens who cleared three. With WR Ja’Kobi Lane (wrist) on injured reserve, Andrews should handle another sizable workload. Ravens WRs Elijah Sarratt and Devontez Walker should both be active if Flowers sits.
  • BAL Wide Receiver #4
It’s possible Flowers gets in some light work after the media portion of the practice, but this should go down as a DNP. Flowers left the Ravens’ Week 1 win over the Colts in the first half. He already had 150 yards and a touchdown to his name. The hamstring issue isn’t believed to be serious, but the team may want to take a cautious approach and hold him out for a week. With Ja’Kobi Lane out because of a broken wrist, Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews would be the top targets for Lamar Jackson if Flowers is also sidelined.
  • BAL Tight End #89
While Zay Flowers dominated in the first half for the Ravens, Andrews was nowhere to be found. The veteran tight end caught just one of three targets for 17 yards in the first half but caught all three targets he saw in the second half, picking up 32 yards. Andrews led all Ravens tight ends with 23 routes run, per TruMedia, and was targeted on 26.1 percent of his routes. If Flowers (hamstring) is unable to go in Week 2 against the Saints, Andrews would see a slight bump in his fantasy stock. For now, we’ll treat him as a mid TE2.

Doyle, 30, has drawn high praise from everyone in the Ravens organization since being hired as OC this offseason. Defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver has called Doyle “a human computer.” “It’s a different system than what I’m accustomed to being in, and I feel like there’s going to be a lot of explosiveness this year,” Jackson said. “The way Declan Doyle calls plays and his creativity with his mind — how detailed he is — it’s mind-blowing.” Doyle is widely expected to use Jackson under center more often in 2026. Jackson has been among the NFL’s most efficient passers when lined up under center over the past couple seasons. Doyle’s Baltimore offense could lift the statistical prospects of Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews, especially if the Ravens are a little more balanced this year.

Ravens team reporter Ryan Mink adds that although TE Mark Andrews posted a career-low 422 receiving yards last season, “the Ravens see a rebound in 2026.” DeCosta’s comments could indicate otherwise, though the team lost TEs Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar in free agency. Mink also notes that the Ravens have picked two tight ends in the same draft four times in franchise history: 2022, 2018, 2015 and 2010. DeCosta has been with the Ravens for his whole career, dating back to 1996, and the strategy has worked well for the organization. Mink believes replacing Likely with a receiving tight end could be viewed as a need in the short term. He lists 10 potential draftees, including Oregon TE Kenyon Sadiq, Ohio State TE Max Klare, Vanderbilt TE Eli Stowers, Baylor TE Michael Trigg and NC State TE Justin Joly.

NFL on Prime’s James Palmer reports that the Browns “love” Denzel Boston, and he is viewed as a “possible future star.”

What to do with this info? Stash Boston at the very least. Per Palmer, the Browns “felt he was a true pro from the day he walked into the building.” In the same pre-Thursday Night Football news dump, Palmer said that Harold Fannin is the team’s No. 3 pass catcher, despite Fannin leading the team in targets. This could indicate that the Browns plan to ramp up Boston’s offensive involvement as the season progresses.

Justin Jefferson (ankle) was not spotted at the open portion of practice on Thursday.

The talk around Jefferson this week has been mostly optimistic, but two missed practices in a row are two missed practices in a row. Friday’s status will be hugely important for his odds of getting on the questionable line. If there’s any real doubt about how he’ll play, we’d imagine the Vikings would sit him against the lowly Dolphins.

NFL on Prime’s James Palmer believes Harold Fannin is the Browns’ No. 3 pass catcher.

This comes from Palmer’s pre-Thursday Night Football notes. After sharing the info, he tells readers to “read into that how you want.” Fannin currently leads the team in targets (18), though rookie WRs KC Concepcion (17) and Denzel Boston (15) are right behind him. If Palmer’s report is accurate, Fannin could slip to third in target share as the season progresses, but he remains a very talented player and target earner, deserving of a weekly TE1 ranking. Just file this away for now.

Rams OC Nate Scheelhaase said he expects Puka Nacua (groin) to practice in full on Thursday.

Scheelhaase also said that Nacua “twisted” to catch a pass thrown behind him yesterday, which the offensive coordinator took as a good sign. Nacua is on track to face the Eagles in Week 4. As long as he gets through the practice week without suffering a setback, Nacua is an elite WR1 this week.

Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez (shoulder) did not practice Thursday.

Back-to-back missed practices throw Gonzalez’s Week 4 status in real jeopardy. There are few players who mean as much to their defense as Gonzalez does, and if he is out against the Bills it will be open season for D.J. Moore and Khalil Shakir in what oddsmakers are predicting to be a shootout.

DeVonta Smith (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday.

Smith practiced on the second of the three practice days ahead of last Monday night in a limited fashion, but it’s hard to determine how worried we should be as the Eagles may simply be trying to give him more rest ahead of this Sunday’s game against the Rams. He’s missed both of the first two practices of the week this time around. Friday’s report will be very instructive.

Jalen Coker (quad) resumed practicing on Thursday.

Coker is currently going through drills, catching passes from Bryce Young. Yesterday, Panthers coach Dave Canales labeled Coker day-to-day. Today’s participation confirms that. The Panthers’ No. 2 wide receiver seemingly has a shot at playing in Week 4 against the Lions. We expect to see him listed as limited today, but we will circle back to provide an update if he ends up practicing in full.

Caleb Douglas (ankle) was not seen practicing on Thursday.

We expect to see Douglas listed with a second DNP next to his name today, putting him on the wrong side of questionable for Week 4 against the Vikings. Were he indeed to miss this week’s game, WRs Chris Bell (knee) and Malik Washington would benefit. Washington’s target volume is somewhat intriguing, but Bell looks like the far more talented player.

Giants RB Tyrone Tracy (knee) resumed practicing on Thursday.

The Giants’ RB3 is seemingly on track to be active for Week 4 against the Cardinals. Unfortunately, Giants LT Andrew Thomas (groin) was not seen practicing during the portion of practice open to the media. He did not practice yesterday either and should currently be considered questionable to play.

Buccaneers OC Zac Robinson said game flow and productivity have limited RB Kenny Gainwell’s usage.

The Buccaneers are 0-3, so if trailing game scripts aren’t the ideal setup for a receiving specialist, we aren’t sure what is. Robinson said he would like to get Gainwell more involved, but also added that Gainwell has to earn those reps by being more productive. Robinson said he also wants to get RB3 Sean Tucker more involved during the same presser. It sounds like this backfield still belongs to starting RB Bucky Irving, who is dealing with a glute injury, but changes are at least being considered.
