Ravens coach Jesse Minter said Lamar Jackson (ankle) is considered day-to-day.

Minter confirmed that Jackson would not practice today. He did not practice once last week before being ruled out on Friday. Jackson appears to be on the wrong side of questionable after missing today’s session, though Minter did note that Jackson is the caliber of player who can suit up on Sunday despite missing all three practices. If he can’t go, Tyler Huntley will draw the start. With Cincinnati and Buffalo on deck after Cleveland this week, the Ravens may opt to give Jackson one more game off before getting him back in the lineup for a pair of must-win games.

Reporting from the sideline of Sunday’s Ravens vs. Bengals game, Wolfson reports that Ravens head coach Jesse Minter told her Jackson would play in Week 8. According to Wolfson, the late decision to sit Jackson this week came after the team had a chance to review footage of Jackson in practice. Minter said Jackson still didn’t look like himself in practice, which is why the team opted to give him one more week away. This is the first time Minter has committed to Jackson returning, so hopefully this is a good sign for his Week 8 availability. We will, of course, be monitoring his practice throughout the week until he is fully removed from the injury report.

Washington was the only player carrying a questionable designation heading into Sunday’s game, but he has officially been ruled out with an ankle injury. Jackson, who is also dealing with an ankle injury, will miss his third-straight game, paving the way for Tyler Huntley to start in the pivotal AFC North matchup.

Rapoport added that Jackson was really close to playing this week. With Tyler Huntley playing well enough to go 1-1 so far, the Ravens took a cautious approach and ruled him out for Week 7. Huntley will start versus the Bengals later today. If all goes well in practice next week, Jackson should be back and vying for the QB1 crown in a shootout with the Bills for Week 8.

Tyler Huntley will draw the start under center for the third straight game as Jackson continues to rehab a high-ankle sprain. Jackson reportedly took most of the first-team reps at practice Friday and was close to being able to play in Week 7, with the team ultimately siding with caution for their franchise quarterback. The Ravens enter a 15-game stretch in which they play three games starting in Week 8, which could have influenced their decision to hold Jackson out one more game. Expect him back for Week 8 against the Bills. His absence greatly influences the upside of the remaining skill position players considering Declan Doyle has halved his usage of play action and completely eliminated RPO with Huntley under center.

Appearing on ESPN Saturday morning, Fowler said the Ravens are “hopeful” that Jackson can play against the Bengals. He added that the team isn’t “overly optimistic” because, according to a source, Jackson is “50/50" to play in Week 7. If Jackson can’t go, Tyler Huntley will get the start and fantasy managers will need a backup plan this week. At this point, it’s unlikely we receive more clarity on the situation before inactives are released Sunday morning.

Here’s what happened: Ravens head coach Jesse Minter spoke and said the team is still “working through” whether Jackson would play on Sunday, and then the team took the unusual step of having both Jackson and Tyler Huntley talk to the media. Jackson also said he doesn’t need to be 100% to play and clarified that he had a high-ankle sprain. Jackson officially draw a questionable tag after a limited Friday session. Reading between the lines, the fact that Huntley spoke probably sets us up nicely for a rug pull, but Jackson-reliant fantasy managers will probably be waiting until inactives on Sunday before they know for sure.

This makes three straight practices for Jackson, who continues to trend in the right direction ahead of Week 7’s game against the Bengals. Jackson was listed as a limited participant in each of the first two practices to start the week and should have a good chance of suiting up, even if he’s only listed as a limited participant. We will provide an update on his official status when the team announces it, but this is yet another encouraging sign for the two-time MVP.

After a weird limited session on Wednesday where he wasn’t out in front of the media, Jackson practiced today in full view of reporters, who noted that he was not favoring his ankle at all. Jackson’s injury has always felt tenuous, but even if Wednesday was sort of an aberration, he has to at least be considered to be moving towards playing. Friday’s status will tell the rest of the story. He was officially limited again today. We expect him to at least be questionable after practicing the first two days of the week.

Jackson was not spotted during the portion of practice open to the media but apparently participated in some capacity later in the session. It’s a step in the right direction, but Jackson likely still has several hurdles to clear before returning to action. Despite Minter’s comments, we expect Jackson to miss another week. Tyler Huntley will draw the start versus Cincinnati if Jackson is ruled out.

Jackson will go down as a DNP when the Ravens drop their first official injury report of the week. He hasn’t practiced since suffering an ankle injury in Week 4. Head coach Jesse Minter insisted earlier this week that Jackson was making progress, but we doubt it’s enough to get him back on the field for Week 7. Tyler Huntley appears to be the favorite to start against the Bengals.

Jaylen Waddle left Week 7’s game against the Cardinals with an apparent shoulder injury.

Up by 14, Sean Payton dialed up a trick play for Waddle, giving him a pitch as Waddle came across the formation. Waddle bobbled the ball and was clobbered by Josh Sweat. He writhed in pain while holding his left shoulder. Trainers came onto the field and eventually walked him into the locker room. With less than four minutes on the clock at the time of his departure, we don’t expect to see him again today. Waddle’s day ends with four catches for 48 yards on seven targets.

Chiefs declared WR Rashee Rice, OT Jaylon Moore, QB Garrett Nussmeier, DB Jadon Canady, FB Ben VanSumeren, and DE Jack Pyburn inactive for Week 7 against the Seahawks.

No real surprise here after Rice was ruled out on Friday, with the Chiefs once again shorthanded as they look to remain the lone undefeated team in the league following the loss by the 49ers earlier in the day. Expect Xavier Worthy and Jalen Royals to serve as the top two receivers with Rice inactive and Tyquan Thornton done for the season, with Andrew Armstrong and rookie Cyrus Allen on hand to soak up situational snaps.

Seahawks declared RB Zach Charbonnet, QB Drew Lock, LB Drake Thomas, RB Robert Henry Jr., LB Chazz Surratt, LB Connor O’Toole, and G Beau Stevens inactive for Week 7 against the Chiefs.

Lock will serve as the emergency quarterback while the team will have to wait another week for the season debut of Zach Charbonnet. The Seahawks look to make up ground in the NFC West following the loss from the 49ers against the last remaining undefeated team in the league.

Cade Otton was held without a catch in the Bucs’ Week 7 win over the Panthers.

What seemed like it could maybe be a pop-up performance for Otton in Emeka Egbuka’s (concussion, foot) absence instead turned into a one-target day as the Bucs rode their rushing attack and Panthers turnovers to a dominant road W. Otton typically comes with a 3-4 catch floor, but the same has been true of his “ceiling” this season. He will continue to struggle to get into the mix ahead of Week 8 against the Falcons.

Greg Dulcich caught all five of his targets for 86 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 7 win over the Jets.

Dulcich made the most of National Tight Ends Day with a 32-yard catch on the Dolphins’ opening drive and two more gains of 15+ yards throughout the contest. He led the team in catches and targets. Dulcich now has at least four receptions in three straight games. Miami’s run-first approach is preventing him from finding spike weeks, but Dulcich has at least worked himself into the TE2 conversation ahead of Week 8.

Ted Hurst was held without a catch in the Bucs’ Week 7 win over the Panthers.

A buzzy WR4 with Emeka Egbuka (foot, concussion) on the shelf, Hurst ended up drawing just one target in a game where the Bucs rode their run game and Panthers turnovers to a thumping road victory. Hugely disappointing if you threw the dart, but Hurst is still an upside bench stash for a team that finally has its starting quarterback back. That being said, Hurst is probably not going to find himself inside the top 50 for Week 8 against the Falcons.

Dylan Sampson had six rushes for 45 yards in the Browns’ Week 7 win against the Titans, adding three catches for 34 yards.

In his first action of 2026, Sampson looked spry and explosive as the Browns’ No. 2 back behind Quinshon Judkins, who totaled over 100 yards and scored two touchdowns on the day. Sampson, meanwhile, logged more pass routes and targets than Judkins. It would appear Sampson is the next guy up in the Cleveland backfield if Judkins misses time in the coming weeks. He should be rostered in most 12-team leagues as a bench stash.

Malik Washington caught all three of his targets for 27 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 7 win over the Jets, adding two carries for eight yards.

Washington’s previous season-low in targets was five. He had also reached at least 43 receiving yards in every game before today. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that his worst box score of the season came in Caleb Douglas’s first game back from a month-long absence. With more competition for targets on a team that doesn’t want to pass the football, Washington is trending in the wrong direction headed into Week 8. He will be a low-end WR4 versus the Patriots next week.

Harold Fannin caught 6-of-9 targets for 91 yards in the Browns’ Week 7 win against the Titans.

It was the first fantasy-relevant stat line for Fannin in quite some time. Headed into Week 7, he had not exceeded 60 receiving yards and had just two games with more than three catches. Against the Titans, Fannin logged a pass routes on nearly every Cleveland drop back and had the most crucial play of the game — a fourth quarter 36-yard catch and run that put the Browns in field goal range to secure the win. Fannin, who has been targeted on a fairly low 17 percent of his routes this season, should be playable next week against the Steelers.

Chris Bell caught 3-of-4 targets for 25 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 7 win over the Jets.

Bell finished second on the team in targets but fourth in receiving yards. Caleb Douglas was finally healthy this week and stole the spotlight with 70 yards and two touchdowns despite seeing just three targets. After being held without a catch in back-to-back games, Bell’s modest Week 7 showing is still a step in the right direction. On the other hand, he simply isn’t seeing enough targets to be a weekly fantasy consideration right now. He should remain on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues this week.
