Browns coach Todd Monken said KC Concepcion (concussion) has cleared protocol and will play in Cleveland’s Week 6 game against the Ravens.

Concepcion will have some low-end WR3/FLEX appeal with four teams on bye in PPR leagues. He simply hasn’t been able to find much space with his opportunities so far, with two 25-yard catches and 16 other catches that went for just 99 yards in his first five weeks of action.

The Browns’ short-area target earner is banged up, but he still has a chance to play in Week 7 against the Titans. Ideally, Concepcion will upgrade to full participation tomorrow. If he remains limited, he may end up being listed with a questionable tag. Stay tuned.

The rookie wide receiver has been awfully banged up over the past two weeks. He suffered a concussion in Week 5, yet managed to play in Week 6. Unfortunately, he did not leave the contest unscathed, picking up two lower-body injuries. Hopefully, he resumes practicing fully tomorrow.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #1
Concepcion’s six targets led all Browns players, while his 37 receiving yards were good for second-most behind Jerry Jeudy. Concepcion’s biggest play of the game came on a 17-yard reception in the third quarter that helped set up the Browns’ first scoring drive of the afternoon. Concepcion had a red zone carry inside the Ravens’ 10-yard line that resulted in only a one-yard gain, but it’s always good to see his coaches trusting him in the valuable areas of the field. We are still waiting on his first breakout game, but the volume continues to be encouraging. Concepcion will be a fringe WR3/WR4 next week against the Titans.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #1
He’s still in concussion protocol, but it looks like he’ll have at least some chance of clearing before Sunday’s game against the Ravens. Concepcion would struggle to be more than a FLEX option here even if healthy, so fantasy managers should probably look at alternatives this week.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #1
It’s a remarkable turn after Concepcion was knocked out cold on the field in Week 5 against the Jets. If Concepcion is able to practice in the coming days he should be active for Week 6 against the Ravens. The rookie leads the Cleveland offense with a 23 percent target per route rate, used primarily as a gadget player near the line of scrimmage. He would be a flex option in PPR formats if he suits up against Baltimore.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #1
Making a spinning first quarter grab, Concepcion took a high hit from Minkah Fitzpatrick, who was flagged for a personal foul. It was the kind of hit the NFL is trying to legislate out of the game, but it wasn’t necessarily dirty. It was extremely unfortunate, as Concepcion did appear to be briefly out cold. He thankfully made his way to his feet and to the locker room unassisted, but he was ruled out before even undergoing a formal evaluation. He will now be highly questionable for Week 6 against the Ravens. Concepcion’s loss will mean more routes for beleaguered Jerry Jeudy.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #1
Concepcion continues to operate as the primary slot receiver for a Browns team clearly looking to their youth while phasing out veteran Jerry Jeudy, the latter of whom managed three receptions on three targets for 36 yards. Concepcion has yet to lead the team in receiving while working in a short area role, with this the first game thus far which he has gained more then 43 yards. He’ll be a difficult start in fantasy circles when the Browns take on the Jets in Week 5.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #1
Concepcion ranks second on the team with 17 targets, but his chemistry with Watson remains a work in progress. The rookie wide receiver has turned a team-high 12 receptions into just 80 yards. Concepcion is FLEX-viable against the Steelers on Thursday Night Football.

    Harold Fannin
    CLE Tight End #44
This comes from Palmer’s pre-Thursday Night Football notes. After sharing the info, he tells readers to “read into that how you want.” Fannin currently leads the team in targets (18), though rookie WRs KC Concepcion (17) and Denzel Boston (15) are right behind him. If Palmer’s report is accurate, Fannin could slip to third in target share as the season progresses, but he remains a very talented player and target earner, deserving of a weekly TE1 ranking. Just file this away for now.

Well that’s not going to cut it. As ESPN’s Mike Clay points out, rookie first-rounder Concepcion is up to 20 targets over three appearances but has just 80 yards to show for it. He is not being put in position to make explosive plays, and he is very much not doing so. With a yards per catch more befitting of a sluggish running back (6.6), Concepcion is best left outside the WR4 ranks ahead of a tough Week 4 date with the Steelers.

Alvin Kamara (back) was removed from the injury report for Week 7’s game against the Steelers.

Kamara was still listed as limited in Friday’s practice, but the Saints feel confident enough in his health to clear him for Week 7. Kamara found the end zone last week on a 31-yard reception, but has largely been inefficient with his touches this season. He seen 14 opportunities to Kendre Miller’s 30 over the last two weeks and will be hard to trust as anything more than a touchdown-dependent RB3 against the Steelers. The only players on the Saints carrying injury designations into the weekend are guard Cesar Ruiz (knee) and DL Nathan Sheperd (illness). Both are listed as questionable.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Puka Nacua’s calf injury is not considered “a significant injury.”

As far as Nacua’s long-term status goes, this sounds like good news overall. However, Rapoport also noted that Nacua’s status for Sunday’s game against the Raiders could be “up in the air.” With Friday’s practice still to go, Nacua’s status will be one to look for later in the day, as will his designation entering the weekend. If he draws a questionable tag, fantasy managers should treat him as a true game-day decision and have a backup plan in place should be unable to play this week. Given the 4:25 PM EST start time for this game, Rams WR Konata Mumpfield could be on a short list of players worth stashing until we know more about Nacua’s availability.

FOX59’s Tyler Haughn reports Colts QB Anthony Richardson was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana earlier this week.

According to reports, Richardson was stopped on October 12th for having a registration on his car that had expired and was assigned to a different vehicle. The officer reported noticing the “odor of marijuana” coming from Richardson’s car, and the former first-round pick admitted to smoking in the car; a “small mason jar containing a substance believed to be marijuana and an opened bag of THC-infused gummies” were found in his vehicle during a search. Richardson is scheduled to have a bench trial on January 4th, 2027. While the NFL no longer suspends players for testing positive for THC, it’s possible Richardson faces some kind of penalty from the league with this being a legal issue.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Cole Kmet will undergo additional tests on his knee after Week 7’s win over the Patriots.

Head coach Ben Johnson said after the game that Kmet’s injury didn’t look “very good,” breaking from his normal tendency to avoid talking about injuries. Kmet’s knee buckled from under him in the fourth quarter of Thursday’s game, and he had to be carted from the field after the play. This looked like a potential season-ender when it happened, but tests will confirm the severity of it in the near future. Kmet’s absence could open up more opportunities for Colston Loveland, who has caught 26 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Rico Dowdle (knee) is questionable for Week 7 against the Saints.

Dowdle was listed as limited throughout the week and will officially be questionable entering this week’s game with the Saints. This is a new injury he is dealing with but it doesn’t sound like he’s at serious risk of missing the game at this time. Dowdle played on just 17 percent of snaps in his return to action last week and saw 11 opportunities. He’ll profile as a low-end RB3 this week if active.

Jaguars OL Anton Harrison was revealed to have a torn ACL, ending his season.

Surgeons discovered Harrison suffered a torn ACL while performing knee surgery on him Thursday. The 23-year-old lineman will now be placed on season-ending IR, with hopes of returning in time for training camp next season. Harrison allowed just 13 pressures and two sacks in five games this season, earning a PFF pass-blocking grade of 67.2. Walker Little, who took over in Harrison’s absence, started last week against the Texans and will assume the starting left tackle role going forward.

Rome Odunze caught 4-of-5 targets for 69 yards in the Bears’ Week 7 win over the Patriots.

The yardage total goes down as Odunze’s second highest mark of the season as the third-year receiver was held out of the end zone for the seventh straight game to start the 2026 season. He did make three massive catches on third downs to help extend drives, making his mark felt more with quality than quantity. That doesn’t necessarily benefit fantasy managers that chased his big-play abilities this offseason as Odunze has largely been a fantasy dud outside of the Week 4 win over the Jets in which he returned 15.4 PPR points. He remains best left on fantasy benches ahead of another difficult test against the Seahawks in Week 8.

Colston Loveland caught 7-of-12 targets for 69 yards and a touchdown in the Bears’ Week 7 win over the Patriots.

Loveland found himself dancing in the end zone for the second consecutive week when he muscled his way in for a score from 12 yards out in the third quarter. The team-leading 12 targets also came on only 33 Caleb Williams pass attempts, with no other player on the team recording more than five targets to their ledger. Furthermore, backup tight end Cole Kmet departed in the fourth quarter with an apparently serious knee injury as he had to be carted off the field, potentially setting Loveland up for more consistent volume moving forward. Loveland finally appears to be making good on his lofty draft capital from the summer after returning fantasy TE1 weeks in two straight games, something managers hope will continue in another difficult matchup on paper against the Seahawks on Monday Night Football in Week 8.

Luther Burden caught all four targets for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Bears’ Week 7 win over the Patriots, adding seven yards on one carry.

Burden erupted on the scene with a 58-yard, catch-and-run reception on a crosser in the first quarter to set up a four-yard score for D’Andre Swift. He would tack on another 24 yards and his touchdown late in the second quarter to push him over the century mark in yards on an improbable touchdown reception, taking a quick screen to the house on third-and-17 with only 14 seconds remaining before the break. Burden would largely fall victim to a more reserved offensive stance after the Bears pushed their lead to 13 points on their first possession of the second half, adding just one additional reception in the final 30 minutes of play. That matters not to fantasy managers that had been waiting for a marquee performance from a player they chased up draft boards this summer. Burden appears to be heating up now further removed from the offseason injury he carried into the start of the regular season and can continue to be started as an upside WR2 ahead of a difficult matchup against the Seahawks in Week 8.

D’Andre Swift rushed 22 times for 78 yards and a touchdown in the Bears’ Week 7 win over the Patriots, adding 12 yards on four receptions.

Swift shook off an early injury scare when he took a helmet directly to his knee to earn a season-high 26 opportunities in the absence of Kyle Monangai. This game had an entirely different feel than the previous game played without Monangai, during which Roschon Johnson was much more involved in a game the Bears held a 31-7 lead in the fourth quarter. The back-and-forth nature of Week 7 kept Swift on the field for more of the game, allowing him to return a legitimate RB1 performance on the backs of elite volume. Monangai could return as early as Week 8 considering the Bears now have 10 days until they play the Seahawks on Monday Night Football, potentially sending Swift back into the RB2 range in fantasy circles.
