Erick All (knee) wil not return in Week 7 against the Ravens.

All exited in the third quarter with a knee injury and walked off the field on his own. The third-year tight end has a history of bad knee injuries, so this one is a bit concerning. All was having a decent day against the Ravens and left the game with three receptions for 26 yards on three targets.
Walker remains an RB1 heading into Broncos matchup
Patrick Daugherty and Kyle Dvorchak believe Kenneth Walker III will remain an RB1 as he gears up to face an imposing Denver Broncos defense.

Hudson saw three targets on the day, catching a Joe Burrow touchdown pass towards the end of the first half. The Bengals used all of their tight ends against Miami; Hudson saw 19 snaps while Mike Gesicki saw 28 and Erick All and Drew Sample tied with 33 snaps. It was a run-heavy day for Cincy, but the four tight ends all combined for nine targets. All caught all three of his targets for 25 yards while Sample caught his only target for five yards.

The rollercoaster ride that is “tertiary target in a Tee Higgins/Ja’Marr Chase-centric offense.” Erick All (2/5 on three targets) lead Bengals tight ends in receptions. Drew Sample (36 of 60) led Bengals tight ends in snaps. Starting Gesicki will pay off at times, but this wasn’t one of them. He’s a TE2 in Week 3 against the Steelers.
  • CIN Tight End #83
Three Bengals tight ends caught at least one pass, but All somehow was not one of them. That will probably change going forward, but this is confirmation that it’s going to be a while if All is to develop back-end streamer relevance this season.

Late in June, the Athletic’s Paul Dehner Jr. identified All as a key cog in the Bengals’ intended schematic switches this season. The team hopes to run more plays from under center while also increasing its play-action rate. It remains to be seen how much receiving involvement All will garner, but the team is very clearly excited about his blocking ability, both in-line and as a fullback. A pair of knee surgeries limited All’s availability through his two NFL seasons. If he can truly return to form, who’s to say he can’t be the Bengals’ long-term TE1? All recently told Dehner that getting hit by a three-wheeled truck in Greece this summer restored his confidence in his ability to take a hit. A modern-day odyssey.
  • CIN Running Back #30
Dehner reports that the Bengals have rigorously practiced lining up under center in spring practices. He believes they will remain a shotgun-first team, but thinks they could improve on their 31st under-center ranking by more than 10 spots. Among the top-40 qualifiers from 2024-25, Brown averages 5.1 yards per carry (fourth) and a 12.3 percent explosive run play rate (third) on runs when QB Joe Burrow lines up under center. From shotgun formation, Brown averages 4.5 (24th) and 7.3 percent (22nd), respectively. Even a minimal increase in under-center snaps would benefit Brown. The Bengals believe TE Erick All’s (knee) return gives them the needed flexibility to do so. He is capable of motioning into the backfield as a fullback, and “setting the edge with vicious crack blocks and overall serving as a hammer in front of Brown in the run game.” Brown finished as the RB7 last year and is being drafted as the consensus RB10 in best ball. Beating that ADP seems plausible.

All missed the end of the 2024 season and the entire 2025 season with a pair of knee surgeries, one to clear out damage done from a surgery at Iowa, and another to repair a torn ACL. He enters the third year of his rookie contract as a deep, deep sleeper in fantasy leagues behind Mike Gesicki, but All did look pretty good in 2024 while healthy. He should at least give the Bengals some usable multi-TE set snaps if necessary.
  • CIN Tight End #83
This was the expected outcome after All suffered from complications arising from a previous surgery in college. That left the second-year tight end looking at two offseason surgeries instead of one after suffering a torn ACL in Week 9 of his rookie year. Expect Mike Gesicki to serve as the primary pass-catching tight end for the Bengals in the coming season, a role that is likely to yield a handful of spike weeks considering the general lack of options behind Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
  • CIN Tight End #83
Due to “complications” from a previous knee surgery in college, Dehner Jr. writes, the rookie tight end will now undergo two knee surgeries instead of just one. All being sidelined for the 2025 year will undoubtedly put more emphasis on the Bengals to re-sign Mike Gesicki and Tanner Hudson. Hopefully All will be able to return for the 2026 season after a decent 20/158/0 receiving line for the Bengals in two months before tearing his ACL.
  • CIN Tight End #83
All will miss the rest of the season after tearing the same ACL he tore in 2023. He played 45 percent of the Bengals snaps in 2024 and will be a key part of the offense assuming he recovers to play in 2025 in the second year of his rookie contract. All finishes with 20 catches on 22 targets for 158 yards in 2024.
  • CIN Tight End #83
Schultz notes this “is the same knee [All] tore his ACL on in October ’23.” It’s an extremely unfortunate end to a promising rookie season. All now faces a long road to recovery in an offseason that should have been spent honing his craft. He finishes the year with 20 receptions and 158 yards on 21 targets, averaging 1.48 yards per route run. The Bengals may now feel compelled to re-sign veteran TE Mike Gesicki, who is scheduled to hit free agency after this season.

Cowboys declared WR KaVontae Turpin, LB Dee Winters, OT Drew Shelton, OLB Tyrus Wheat, and RB Emari Demercado inactive for Week 7 against the Eagles.

No real surprises here after KaVontae Turpin was ruled out earlier in the week, with the biggest impact being how the team will handle kick and punt returns on special teams. The Cowboys continue to inch closer to full strength as they near the half way point in the regular season, desperately needing a win over the shorthanded Eagles to keep pace in the NFC East.

Saquon Barkley (hamstring) is active for Week 7 against the Cowboys.

Barkley returns from a two-game absence, which could not have come at a better time for a team missing its starting quarterback and top two wide receivers. The divisional tilt against the Cowboys is a game of great importance to each team as they look up at the division-leading Giants as we approach the half way point in the regular season. Although Barkley could see his touches monitored in his first game in three weeks, fantasy gamers that waited him out through the weekend are likely forced to ride with the veteran for lack of other options. Inactive for the Eagles are OLB Nolan Smith, WR DeVonta Smith, WR Dontayvion Wicks, QB Cole Payton, DB Michael Carter II, and OL Jake Majors.

Kyle Shanahan said Christian McCaffrey has a “mild” hamstring strain.

That explains McCaffrey’s brief departure in the team’s Week 7 loss to the Falcons, when the veteran alpha missed most of the second quarter but returned for the second half. 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan added that he believes McCaffrey will be fine when the team comes out of their Week 8 bye. “We’re pretty optimistic,” he said Monday. Fantasy managers appear to have dodged a bullet with the first-round fantasy powerhouse but will want to continue to monitor reports from the team through their bye.

Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur said James Conner could “potentially” return this season.

Conner has been on injured reserve all season while continuing to work his way back from the brutal foot/ankle injury he suffered last season. If he does return, Conner will join a fairly crowded backfield and would be nearly impossible to trust in fantasy as long as Jeremiyah Love and Tyler Allgeier are both healthy.

Jeremiyah Love (ankle) is expected to practice on Wednesday.

This news comes from head coach Mike LaFleur, who spoke with the media on Monday. After missing the last two games with a nagging ankle issue, Love’s return to the field in any capacity suggests he could have a chance to suit up in Week 8 against the Cowboys. Love’s ankle injury slowed his production through the first five weeks of the season, with the rookie saying at one point that he would “probably just hinder the team” if he had to play through it. Love’s status will be one to watch throughout the week, but even if he’s active, he’ll likely be forced to split touches with either Tyler Allgeier or Bam Knight, who has been solid in Love’s absence.

Packers listed Matthew Golden (shoulder/foot) as a DNP on Monday’s estimated injury report.

Golden has been dealing with the shoulder injury since last week, but the foot injury is a new one. While this is only an estimated injury report, the DNP is still mildly concerning for Golden, with the Packers playing on a short week. His status will be one to monitor in the coming days, but hopefully this is a minor issue. Golden played the entirety of the game in Week 7’s loss to the Lions and didn’t appear to be hampered by any nagging issues. We’ll see if he get upgraded to a limited participant on Tuesday.

Panthers listed Bryce Young (knee) as a full participant on Monday’s estimated injury report.

Young was listed with the same knee injury last Friday but remained a full participant and was good to go in Week 7. Whatever issue he’s dealing with appears minor, especially if the team is still listing him as a full participant. At this point, there’s no reason to think he won’t be active for Week 8’s game against the Packers on Thursday night.

Panthers listed Jalen Coker (shoulder) as limited on Monday’s estimated injury report.

The Panthers won’t have their first official practice until Tuesday, but Coker would have been limited on Monday had the team been on the field. Coker caught one pass for nine yards in Week 7’s loss to the Buccaneers. His struggles came on a day when the entire Panthers offense was stymied for much of the day, so hopefully he’ll be in line to bounce back against the Packers on Thursday if he is active.

Browns activated Dillon Gabriel from injured reserve.

In a corresponding move, the Browns waived TE Carsen Ryan to make room for Gabriel, now the fourth quarterback on the team’s 53-man roster. Gabriel is buried on the depth chart behind Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders, and would need a lot to break right for him to have a chance to play this season.

Raiders designated Jack Bech (forearm) to return from injured reserve.

His 21-day practice window will open this week. Bech could, in theory, start eating into Jalen Nailor and Tre Tucker’s snap counts. The Raiders are probably pretty happy with how Tucker has played, though, and Nailor is more of a fit as an outside receiver than Bech is. The 2025 second-rounder is worth monitoring but not exactly someone you should be stashing ahead of his return.
