DJ Moore caught 4-of-7 targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Bills’ Week 8 win over the Ravens.

Moore’s 82 receiving yards trailed only Dalton Kincaid (86). Playing in his first game since Week 4, Moore did not appear to be slowed at all by his injured shoulder and bounced back quickly on a play where he appeared to land hard on the turf. Moore hauled in an impressive 49-yard grab in the third quarter on a drive that helped set up James Cook for a five-yard rushing touchdown, and found the end zone himself in the fourth quarter on an 11-yard score that gave Josh Allen the Bills’ franchise record for career touchdown passes. The seven targets Moore saw were on par with what have come to expect from him pre-injury, which is a good sign for him going forward. He appeared to suffer a minor knee injury near the end of the game, but said afterward it wasn’t too serious. That will be something to monitor, but assuming he’s good to go, Moore will be on the WR2 radar next week on the road against the Vikings.

Moore and TE Dalton Kincaid are both officially active, giving the Bills two of their top playmakers in what projects as one of the best matchups of the Week 8 slate against the Ravens. Moore returns for his first game since Week 4 and has caught 12 passes for 178 yards and one touchdown on 19 targets. He’ll profile as a fringe WR1/WR2 at home. The Bills declared WR Skyler Bell, CB Dee Alford, S Jalon Kilgore, LB Mike Danna, OG Ar’maj Reed-Adams, OT Spencer Brown, and DL Greg Gaines inactive for Week 8.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
Moore missed the Bills’ previous two games but had the bye week to get healthy. He was limited in practice throughout the week before being listed as questionable. He’s likely still not at full strength, but fantasy managers can’t be too concerned given the game environment. The Bills’ matchup with Baltimore has all of the makings of a shootout. Moore was also operating as Josh Allen’s clear No. 1 receiver before aggravating his shoulder injury. Moore is a strong WR2 option for Week 8.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
Moore has practiced with a non-contact jersey on, in a limited fashion, both of the first two days of the practice week after coming off bye. He got in a third limited session on Friday. This isn’t exactly an exciting run-out after the bye, but Moore probably is on the optimistic side of questionable and any fantasy player that is breathing should be elevated in a game projected to have Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson at quarterback.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
The consecutive limited showings seems to indicate Moore is on track to return from a two-game absence, something we should get further fidelity on after Friday’s practice. There remains a possibility that Moore carries a questionable designation into the weekend if he is unable to upgrade to a full participant Friday, leaving fantasy managers hopeful yet uncertain as we near the weekend. Moore would return to a WR2 profile when the Bills take on the Ravens, if active.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
Moore missed the Bills’ past two games because of the recurring shoulder injury. He got in one limited practice in Week 6. The team listed him as questionable but ultimately held him out. A Week 7 bye could not have come at a better time, and he now appears likely to return for Buffalo’s upcoming date with the Ravens. In a likely shootout with Baltimore, Moore will be back in the WR2 mix once he gets the green light to play.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
Moore was considered legitimately questionable entering the weekend after logging only one practice. He will now miss a second straight game with the shoulder injury he suffered in Week 4, paving the way for Keon Coleman to again see significant snaps. While Moore is out, Josh Palmer, who was questionable with his own shoulder injury, is active. The Bills declared DT Ed Oliver, LB Mike Danna, and OG Ar’ma Reed-Adams inactive for Sunday’s game.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
The Athletic’s Joe Buscaglia notes that Moore resumed practicing today after sitting out on Wednesday and Thursday. He did the same thing last week before being labeled questionable and ultimately ruled out on game day. It looks like he’s a game-time decision again this week. If active, he can be started as a WR2, but re-injury remains a risk.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
It looks like the Bills could again be without their No. 1 wide receiver on game day. Josh Allen and Co. take on the Raiders this weekend, in what should be a fantasy-friendly game environment. Hopefully, Moore resumes practicing soon.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
Moore aggravated a shoulder injury in Week 4 and only practiced with a non-contact jersey on Saturday of last week. After missing Week 5, Moore starts out as a non-practice participant in the Bills’ Wednesday walk-through. He will need at least a limited practice before fantasy managers can start considering him for Week 6 lineups.

Moore’s absence leaves only Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, Greg Dortch, and Skyler Bell as healthy wide receivers on the active roster with Joshua Palmer also sidelined. Expect heavy snap rates for Coleman and Shakir alongside tight end Dalton Kincaid, with the possibility the team elevates their 12-personnel rates through the inclusion of Dawson Knox. Also inactive for the Bills are WR Joshua Palmer, OL Jude Bowry, OL Ar’maj Reed-Adams, DL Ed Oliver DL, Landon Jackson, and NCB Dee Alford.

Zach Charbonnet (knee) and Jadarian Price (chest) are active for Week 8 against the Bears.

Charbonnet makes his season debut after a suffering a torn ACL late in the 2025 season while Price returns from short-term injure reserve due to a chest injury. Emmanuel Wilson and George Holani had held down the backfield in the absence of the two top backs, leaving an uncertain situation regarding expected backfield utilization when the Seahawks take on the Bears in a marquee matchup. Inactive for the Seahawks are QB Drew Lock, LB Uchenna Nwosu, WR Rashid Shaheed, RB Velus Jones Jr., OT Charles Cross, G Beau Stephens, and NT Brandon Pili.

Bears declared RB Kyle Monangai, QB Case Keenum, DB Malik Muhammad, OL Jordan McFadden, DL Jayden Loving, and OL Jordan van den Berg inactive for Week 8 against the Seahawks.

No real surprises here after Monangai was ruled out for Week 8 on Saturday, leaving D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson to handle backfield duties in a difficult matchup against the Seahawks. The two had operated in a loosely split backfield before Week 7, during which Swift saw workhorse usage in a tight game against the Patriots. It would appear likely that Swift will once again see the bulk of the work considering the opponent, making him a surefire RB2 with RB1 upside to cap the Week 8 festivities.

Jesse Minter said the team is considering injured reserve for Tyler Loop (undisclosed).

Loop suffered an undisclosed injury in the Week 8 loss to the Bills, something that is reportedly serious enough to warrant injured reserve consideration. When asked if Jake Moody would be kicking on Thursday Night Football against the Jaguars, Minter replied with a simple, “At this point, yes.” The Ravens were dealt numerous injury issues in their loss to the Bills as they lost both Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, with third string rookie Joe Fagnano also emerging dinged up after taking numerous hard sacks.

Jesse Minter said Joe Fagnano (ankle) is “dealing with some things physically” but has a chance to start in Week 9.

Whelp, that isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement for the rookie quarterback’s chances of starting under center for the Ravens when they host the Jaguars on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 9. The team lost both Lamar Jackson to a season-ending thumb injury and backup Tyler Huntley to a turf toe injury in their Week 8 loss to the Bills, now in desperate need of a viable quarterback option as they fight for their playoff lives. It is possible the team addresses the position through trade with just over a week until the trade deadline, although that is unlikely to help them on a short week. More to come in what quickly became a dire situation in Baltimore.

Jim Harbaugh said the team will open the 21-day practice window for David Njoku this week.

Njoku has been on the shelf since being placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 3, with the potential to return following five missed games plus the team’s Week 7 bye. The team will have 21 days to activate him from short-term injured reserve, meaning Njoku is not guaranteed to be activated in time for Week 9 against the Texans. Fantasy managers that have held Njoku through his time on injured reserve can continue patiently waiting for his return while those in shallower leagues can consider adding him from waivers before he is activated.

Sean McVay said Rams will open the 21-day practice window for Myles Garrett.

Garrett will reportedly retake the practice field this week as he looks to make his return from injured reserve, a welcome sight for fans and the team, alike. Garrett played only 40 defensive snaps in Week 1 before suffering the injury that would cost him the following seven games. His eventual return will bolster a defense that has been underperforming preseason expectations, bringing a jolt to a team currently stuck at .500 with a 4-4 record. We’ll know more of the timing of his activation throughout the week.

Nick Sirianni said “Tanner (McKee) is our guy” when asked about the team’s quarterback situation.

Speaking to media Monday following the team’s sixth consecutive loss, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni expressed confidence in his 26 year old quarterback, saying, “Tanner is out guy.” He was asked directly if he was considering a change at quarterback following McKee’s third straight loss, quickly putting those rumors to rest. McKee appears to be the team’s starting quarterback, at least in the immediate future, as they limp past the half way point of the regular season with a Week 9 meeting against the division rival Giants.

Kendrick Bourne suffered a fractured tibia in the Cardinals’ Week 8 win over the Cowboys, ending his season.

Shortly after head coach Mike LaFleur said Bourne’s injury could be season-ending, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Bourne suffered a fractured tibia that will sideline him for the next three months, effectively ending his season. Bourne caught 26 passes for 263 scoreless yards in his first season with the Cardinals. He remains under contract for the 2027 season, but the Cardinals can release him for a dead cap hit of $2.2 million.

Jaguars S Eric Murray (elbow) will miss the remainder of the season.

The Jaguars lost two starters on the defensive side of the ball in Sunday’s win over the Colts, with Murray and DT DaVon Hamilton (quad) both being dealt season-ending blows. Murray, 32, started all six games he appeared in for the Jags this season, totaling 15 tackles while earning a PFF coverage grade of 60.4. His loss, along with the loss of Hamilton, deals a substantial blow to the Jags’ run defense, as both players have been key contributors in stopping the ground game.

Pearce is eligible to play in Week 9 against the Bengals and will likely join the team when it flies to Madrid for the international matchup. Pearce’s return should provide a nice spark to the 17th-ranked Falcons’ defense after the 2025 first-rounder racked up 10.5 sacks and 10 TFLs as a rookie while totaling 26 tackles.
