Texas A&M signed four-star 2017 DE Jayden Peevy.
Peevy initially committed to Baylor in April, but backed off that pledge in May. The Bellaire, Texas, native subsequently committed to Texas A&M near the end of August. Rivals ranks the 6-foot-6, 279-pounder as their No. 9 defensive end prospect in the 2017 class. Per ESPN, Peevy is a "[b]ig kid [who] can generate some push when he stays low, but can stall out due to pads rising.” The outlet believes that a move to offensive tackle is not out of the realm of possibility down the road.
