Senat (6’0/314) made 36 starts on the USF Bulls’ defensive line, tallying 23.5 career tackles for loss with seven sacks. In 2017, PFF College credited Senat with 30 total run stops, fourth most among draft-eligible interior defensive linemen. Senat is stubby with short arms (31 5/8") and only tested as a 13th-percentile SPARQ athlete, but his game tape shows a persistent disruptor. Senat may max out as a two-down run stopper in the pros, but he has a high floor. The Falcons needed a space eater next to three-technique DT Grady Jarrett.

Kraft said all the way back in June that he would likely begin training camp on the PUP list. He added that he may simply need some time to get his conditioning right before taking the field, and his comments from today seem to confirm that. He was on pace to finish as the TE4 before suffering a torn ACL last year. Even if he starts slow in 2026, Kraft appears to be a safe bet for high-end fantasy production this year.

Dell is still working his way back from the catastrophic knee injury that cost him all of the 2025 season. All reports on his health heading into training camp have been positive, but a slow ramp-up period could mean he isn’t playing a full-time role in Week 1. Jayden Higgins appears to be locked in for No. 2 duties in Houston with Dell, Xavier Hutchinson, and an injured Jaylin Noel all vying for the third spot in 11-personnel. Dell is likely the best bet of the three, but it’s more likely than not that there is no clear winner ahead of Houston’s opener.

The Texans placed Noel on the NFI list at the start of camp. He is unable to practice until the team activates him. For a second-year player who struggled to earn playing time as a rookie, this is far from ideal. Tank Dell isn’t fully participating in practice yet, meaning Xavier Hutchinson and Jayden Higgins will see plenty of reps with the first-team offense to start camp.

Melifonwu signed a one-year deal with Miami last offseason and went on to appear in 16 games for the Phins, eight of which were starts. He intercepted one pass and recorded one sack. Melifonwu is a depth option at this point in his career, but he should still see some snaps on defense plus work on special teams with the Bucs.

The Panthers’ season starts in less than seven weeks, so it’s safe to assume Brazzell won’t be on the field for their opener. As a rookie, the lack of training camp reps will also be more meaningful for him. Brazzell was supposed to contend with Xavier Legette for the final starting role in three-receiver sets, but that is now out of the question. He is no longer on the season-long radar for fantasy purposes, though dynasty managers can still leave a light on for some late-season production.

Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the deal includes $35 million guaranteed. Delpit was set to play out the final year of his current contract in 2026 before landing this new deal. He totaled four pass breakups, one intercpetion, and a career-high three sacks in 2025. Though the pass-rushing production is unlikely to hold up this year, Delpit is a versatile safety on a defense that traded Myles Garrett in the offseason. Keeping him around beyond 2026 made sense for both sides.

Bresee will undergo testing to confirm the diagnosis, but it’s safe to assume he is done for the year. He broke out with 7.5 sacks in 2024, but that number fell to 2.5 last year. Bresee is also a liability against the run, so his value largely comes from his production as an interior pass-rusher. The Saints picked up his fifth-year option this offseason, meaning he will remain with the team for the 2027 season before hitting free agency.

Nabers avoided the PUP list to start training camp, which was a bit of a surprise given the generally negative reporting surrounding his knee injury during the offseason. He suffered a torn ACL and meniscus, both of which required surgery. Nabers also underwent a cleanup procedure during the summer. Though he is still a long way away from fully participating in practice, all signs point to him playing early in the season, if not Week 1 outright.

James possibly had an edge over rookie Kaelon Black for the No. 2 gig in San Francisco heading into camp, but that is entirely out the window now. With Isaac Guerendo also injured, Black is already the last man standing behind Christian McCaffrey. With a decent training camp, he will enter the season as the backup to the most valuable running back in all of fantasy football. Black is officially one of the better late-round dart throws, particularly in leagues with deeper benches.

The swelling is believed to be related to the PCL injury he dealt with last year. That he is still dealing with a lingering issue from 2025 after missing much of his rookie season for other reasons is more than a little concerning for fantasy managers. Christian Kirk is also being held out of practice right now, meaning rookie De’Zhaun Stribling seemingly has the inside track for No. 2 duties right now. With no timeline for his return, Pearsall should tumble down draft boards in the coming days. Stribling, on the other hand, is firmly in the FLEX mix, even in redraft leagues.
