Texans signed LB Denzel Perryman, formerly of the Raiders, to a one-year, $3.5 million contract.
Perryman visited with the Texans last week after it was reported he wouldn’t be returning to Las Vegas. A shoulder injury limited Perryman to just 12 games last year, but, even at 30 years old, he didn’t show any signs of slowing down. Perryman totaled 14 TFLs, two interceptions, and a sack in 2022. He earned his first Pro Bowl nod the year before. The addition of Perryman is another strong addition to DeMeco Ryan’s refurbished Houston defense.
