  • CAR Quarterback #14
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said the Saints are “leaning into the Taysom Hill experience” this season.
While the Saints continue to expand Hill’s package, Fowler said, “It could look slightly different than in previous years.” The offensive weapon could reportedly play “up to five positions” this season, as coaches “believe he has more to give” heading into his eighth season as a pro. Fantasy managers who can deploy Hill as a tight end on their roster could have a nice edge at the position if things play out well for him this season. Last year, Hill totaled 692 yards from scrimmage and six touchdowns while catching 33 passes. He had career-highs in both receptions and receiving yards (291) and finished as the TE15 in fantasy points per game in PPR leagues. He’s a low-risk, high-reward player who remains an interesting stash in fantasy leagues.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #4
Cardinals WR Greg Dortch (hamstring) is questionable for Week 3 against the Lions.
Dortch is a surprise addition to the injury report as he wasn’t added until Friday. The Cardinals listed him as a limited participant in practice before giving him the questionable tag. With Marvin Harrison Jr. breaking out in Week 2, Dortch was a weak fantasy option before suffering the injury. Even if he suits up, fantasy managers should be wary of his Week 3 outlook.
  • ARI Tackle #68
Cardinals RT Kelvin Beachum (hamstring) is questionable for Week 3 against the Lions.
Beachum was added to the injury report on Thursday before being downgraded to a DNP on Friday. That puts him on the wrong side of questionable heading into the weekend. Jackson Barton and Charlie Heck are both candidates to be called up from the practice squad and take Beachum’s spot in the lineup if he can’t go.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #1
Seahawks WR Laviska Shenault Jr. (foot) is questionable to play in Week 3 against the Dolphins.
Shenault’s Friday practice participation has yet to be released but he logged consecutive Full Participant designations to begin the weeks. He has strong odds of suiting up but is not relevant for fantasy purposes.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #83
Dolphins WR Malik Washington (quad) is doubtful for Week 3 against the Seahawks.
Washington was limited in practice throughout the week. Miami gets an extra day of rest next week because they play on Monday Night Football. That could be enough time for Washington to make his NFL debut. Braxton Berrios remains the team’s WR3 for Week 3.
  • MIA Running Back #23
Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson (oblique) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 3 against the Seahawks.
Wilson barely saw the ball in Week 2 before going down in the fourth quarter. He did not log a carry but caught two short passes. He isn’t on the fantasy radar heading into Week 3.
  • MIA Tackle #72
Dolphins LT Terron Armstead (shoulder/knee) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 3 against the Seahawks.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters earlier this week Armstead would be back “sooner rather than later.” He wasn’t kidding. Armstead, who is a warrior when it comes to playing through injuries, is good to go for Week 3.
  • SEA Linebacker #53
Seahawks LB Boye Mafe (knee) is questionable to play in Week 3 against the Dolphins.
Mafe leads Seahawks defenders in both pressures (15) and NFL sacks (2.0) so availability would go a long way toward pressuring the Dolphins Week 3 starting QB Skylar Thompson. Mafe’s Friday practice status has yet to be released but even limited participation would bode positively for his availability. Seahawks No. 3 S K’Von Wallace (shoulder) is also questionable for Week 3.
  • DAL Tight End #87
Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (knee) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 3 against the Ravens.
Ferguson missed Week 2 with the knee issue but participated in all three practices this week before being cleared. He should play without any limitations in a high-scoring matchup versus the Ravens. Ferguson will rank as a low-end TE1 for Week 3.
  • DAL Cornerback #7
Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs (foot) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 3 against the Ravens.
Defensive tackle Mazi Smith is listed as questionable. Diggs missed Wednesday’s practice but was back on the field by Thursday. He was a full participant in Friday’s session before being cleared. Diggs notched one interception and two pass breakups in Week 1 before he and the rest of the Dallas defense gave up 44 points to the Saints last week. He will look to get back on track versus Lamar Jackson on Sunday.
  • SEA Linebacker #17
Seahawks LB Jerome Baker (hamstring) is doubtful to play in Week 3 against the Dolphins.
Baker surely would have liked to suit up against his former team but the Seahawks are evidently playing things conservatively. Baker joined practice in a limited capacity on Thursday and his Friday status has yet to be released. He has a good shot at suiting up for Week 4 against the Lions.
