Rams QB Matthew Stafford did not finish Wednesday’s joint practice against the Cowboys after experiencing “hamstring tightness.”
Stafford leaving practice is likely a precautionary measure for the Rams to ensure any hamstring issue does not escalate. Head coach Sean McVay said, “unfortunately, [Stafford] had some tightness” in Wednesday’s joint practice against the Cowboys. The 36-year-old just agreed to a re-worked contract in the offseason and the Rams anticipate Stafford continuing to run the offense at a high level. Jimmy Garoppolo and Stetson Bennett took over reps for the second half of the practice.
  • PIT Wide Receiver #19

Steelers WR Calvin Austin (calf) was limited in Friday’s practice.
It was a mid-week downgrade, never a great sign. Austin played a season-low 16 offensive snaps on Sunday with new additions Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Adam Thielen taking bigger roles, so he’s droppable in most leagues.
Bet on Rivers, Taylor against Seahawks in Week 15
The FFHH crew shares their favorite bets for Week 15 of the NFL season, detailing why 44-year-old Philip Rivers will have over 151 passing yards and Jonathan Taylor will have over 14 receiving yards against the Seahawks.
  • MIN Running Back #33
Vikings RB Aaron Jones (shoulder) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 15 against the Cowboys.
Jones will continue to play through the pain in his age-31 season. Over the last four weeks, Jones’ best showing earned him the overall RB26 spot in half-PPR scoring. The Vikings’ game against the Cowboys profiles as a fantasy-friendly one, though, warranting low-end RB2 treatment for Jones.
  • PIT Defensive Tackle #97
Steelers DT Cameron Heyward (knee) did not practice on Friday.
It’s a new listing, and one that puts Heyward’s status for Week 15 in some doubt ahead of Monday night. The veteran likely doesn’t actually need the practice at this point, but mid-week downgrades are always a bit scary. Sunday’s report should add some clarity to the proceedings.
  • MIN Wide Receiver #3
Vikings WR Jordan Addison (Achilles) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 15 against the Cowboys.
Addison’s injury is a bit concerning, as is QB J.J. McCarthy’s erratic play. McCarthy had a decent last week though, and the Cowboys’ pass defense is relatively fantasy-friendly. Addison is a low-end WR3 in what could be a high-scoring game environment.
  • DAL OFFENSIVE TACKLE (SUB) #60
Cowboys T Tyler Guyton (ankle) won’t play in Dallas’ Week 15 game against the Vikings.
Nate Thomas got the tackle work the last two weeks and should be set for another start against the Vikings defense in Week 15. Guyton has not played or practiced since suffering the dreaded high-ankle sprain in Dallas’ Week 12 win over the Eagles. The second-year tackle should be considered questionable for Week 16.
  • DAL Tight End #87
Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) is questionable for Dallas’ Week 15 game against the Vikings.
Brian Schottenheimer said that he was “relieved” that Ferguson will be able to “answer the bell” in a press availability earlier, which strongly points at him playing. No longer at the point of the season where he’s spiking six touchdowns in the span of a month, Ferguson is now more of a low/mid-range TE1 against the Vikings.
  • LV Tight End #87
Raiders TE Michael Mayer (ankle) is not on Las Vegas’ final Week 15 injury report.
Nor is Dont’e Thornton (concussion), as the Raiders get back some supporting cast members against the Eagles. Neither player is fantasy-interesting at this time, though Mayer has flirted with it at points of this season. The passing offense is simply too limited to get this far down the depth chart at this time.
  • PHI Defensive Tackle #98
Eagles ruled out DT Jalen Carter (shoulders) for Week 15 against the Raiders.
This was expected. Carter was labeled week-to-week eight days ago after undergoing procedures on both shoulders at the beginning of Week 14. The Eagles (8-5) sit atop the NFC East. They face the Commanders (3-10) in Week 16 and the Bills (9-4) in Week 17.
  • NYJ Running Back #20
Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) is not on New York’s final Week 15 injury report.
Tough scenes for Hall as he’ll be the focal point of a Jaguars defense that was already a bit of a pass funnel. And now the pass part of the pass funnel is led by Brady Cook. Hall will be a low-floor RB2 in Week 15 based on the workload, but it won’t be pretty.
  • PHI Tackle #65
Eagles ruled out RT Lane Johnson (foot) for Week 15 against the Raiders.
Fortunately, this should not be too tough a matchup, though Johnson’s absence is unfortunate. On the plus side, LG Landon Dickerson (calf/rest) is good to go. Hopefully, Johnson can return in time for the team’s Week 16 matchup against the division-rival Commanders.
