Jermaine Burton caught 1-of-3 targets for 41 yards in the Bengals’ Week 8 loss to the Eagles.

Burton has been rotating in and out of the wide receiver rotation with Trenton Irwin, but both were active this week with Tee Higgins (quad) out. Burton was targeted three times, catching 41-yard long ball along the sideline for his only catch. He notably also had an endzone target that was broken up. Meanwhile, Irwin caught his sole target for four yards. Neither player is fantasy relevant for next week.

Ashton Jeanty had 10 rushes for 27 yards in the Raiders’ Week 5 loss to the Patriots, adding three catches for 50 yards.

Most of Jeanty’s production against New England came on a 31-yard catch and run in the third quarter. Battling through foot and ankle injuries, Jeanty looked hobbled from the start and struggled to break tackles or outrun Patriots defenders to the edge. Most Raiders starters rested in the fourth quarter of a lopsided loss. Jeanty still doesn’t have a rushing touchdown on the season and hasn’t had 100 rushing yards in a game since Week 1 against the Dolphins. Until Jeanty is fully healthy he probably won’t provide much in the way of upside, including next week against a decent Buffalo run defense.

Nico Collins caught 5-of-7 targets for 56 yards in Houston’s Week 5 win over the Titans.

He went for 3/45 in the first half and was mostly managed down with the Texans not really threatened in a major way after he sealed a block for their first touchdown in the third quarter. Collins took a hard fall after a leaping grab and did look a little worse for the wear on the sideline. We wouldn’t be surprised if he saw injury report time this week. That said, he looked good and the Texans simply didn’t need to throw the ball much late in this one. It’s back to the low-end WR1 line next week against the Jaguars.

Woody Marks rushed 15 times for 62 yards in Houston’s Week 5 win over the Titans, adding four catches for 23 yards on four targets.

He had a 20-ish yard touchdown taken off the board on what appeared to be a ticky-tack holding penalty. The more important story here is that David Montgomery (groin) went down mid-game and the Texans gave Marks a full workload. He had 56-of-65 snaps and no other back received a carry or touch. Marks won’t get that kind of workload next week against the Jaguars, but if Montgomery is destined for a long absence, he should threaten 70 percent of the snaps and a majority of the workload, making him one of the day’s bigger fantasy winners.

Kirk Cousins completed 19-of-28 attempts for 243 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders’ Week 5 loss to the Patriots.

Cousins didn’t play poorly, but didn’t do much beyond connecting with Brock Bowers for some long gains in the first half, before the Patriots avalanched the severely overmatched Raiders in the third quarter. Cousins was sacked three times while narrowly avoiding a few other big losses, as the Vegas offensive line struggled to protect him throughout. His muted showing comes after 11 touchdown tosses over the season’s first four games in Klint Kubiak’s offense. Cousins will look to bounce back in Week 6 against the Bills in what should be a high-scoring affair.

C.J. Stroud completed 26-of-34 passes for 261 yards and a touchdown in Houston’s 26-3, Week 5 win over the Titans.

He added a rushing touchdown on a goal-to-go red zone keeper. The Texans offense continues to bog down with penalties and bad runs — they went into half with four field goals — but Stroud was able to pilot the ship well enough to keep things reasonable until the Titans defense broke in the second half. He’ll head to London next week to face the Jaguars, yet another team that should keep him throwing given how good their run defense is, so he’ll be a mid-range QB2 for that one.

Jakobi Meyers caught 2-of-3 targets for 37 yards in the Jaguars’ Week 5 win over the Eagles.

Meyers has been held to two and three catches over his past two games. It’s probably not a coincidence that Brenton Strange leads the team with 14 catches during Meyers’ two-game slump. Meyers is still operating as the Jags’ WR2, but his role will come down to matchup nuances on a week-to-week basis. He is sliding back into the WR5 fantasy ranks ahead of his Week 6 matchup with the Texans.

Brenton Strange caught 7-of-8 targets for 68 yards in the Jaguars’ Week 5 win over the Eagles.

After a quiet three games to start the year, Strange has heated up over the past two weeks. He led the team with seven catches last week and did so again today in London. Strange had seven catches in his first three games combined. He can’t be expected to pace the Jags in receiving, but Strange is back on the TE1/2 border for his Week 6 date with Houston.

Chris Rodriguez rushed two times for five yards in the Jaguars’ Week 5 win over the Eagles.

Rodriguez was all but phased out of the rotation in this game. His most notable touch was a goal line carry which he was stuffed on and then fumbled the ball away. He was called down on the field. Even though replay clearly showed him losing the ball, there was no clear recovery and the refs didn’t bother overturning the non-fumble. Rodriguez may still be the occasional touchdown vulture, but his role has been reduced to the point where fantasy managers can safely cut ties with him on the next run of waivers.

Kenyon Sadiq suffered a concussion in the Jets’ Week 5 game against the Browns and will not return.

To make matters worse, Sadiq suffered the injury in the process of losing a fumble. Targeted on a 3rd-and-9 near the goal line in the third quarter, Sadiq was short of the first down and got “Peanut punched” for the giveaway. With neither side getting anything going in rainy New Jersey conditions, Sadiq had just two receptions for three yards before going down, getting out-produced by a returning Mason Taylor in the process. Now highly questionable for Week 6 against the Patriots, Sadiq will not be on the streamer radar if given the go-ahead.

Bhayshul Tuten rushed 22 times for 72 yards in the Jaguars’ Week 5 win over the Eagles, adding two catches for 24 yards.

The Jags’ offense struggled to execute at a basic level in this game, and Tuten may have been hurt the most by errors. Their first goal line sequence of the day started with a Chris Rodriguez near-fumble. After two incomplete passes, Liam Coen dialed up a jet sweep for Tuten that was blown up for a loss of six yards. The Jags’ next goal line sequence featured a pair of delay of game penalties followed by an incomplete pass on fourth down. Tuten got the full workhorse treatment in this game, ceding just two carries and one catch to his backups. He unfortunately could not make much of the touches. Tuten will be a high-end RB2 if this role persists into his Week 6 matchup versus the Texans.
