NBC Sports’ ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio reports Colts co-owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon, the late Jim Irsay’s oldest daughter, is expected to become the team’s new controlling owner.

Irsay-Gordon previously assumed control of the Colts during Irsay’s six-game suspension in 2014, perhaps setting a precedent along the way. Florio adds that Irsay-Gordon’s sisters, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson, will also remain co-owners, though their expected involvement has not yet been reported on.

Titans acquired DT Solomon Thomas and a 2026 seventh-round pick from the Cowboys in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round pick.

The trade allows the Cowboys to move up from pick No. 225 to No. 218. This will be Thomas’ third stint playing for head coach Robert Saleh. The two spent the 2017-2020 seasons together with the 49ers before reuniting with the Jets from 2022-2024. Thomas, 30, totaled 14 tackles, five TFLs and 12 quarterback pressures last season.

Free agent EDGE Brandon Graham said he is not retiring.

Graham, 37, came out of retirement to play for the Eagles in October last season. He notched three tackles, 11 quarterback pressures and three sacks, operating as a rotational pass rusher. Graham signed a $1.225 million deal last season and could be willing to play for the Eagles, or elsewhere, at a similar cost this season.

Osa Odighizuwa

Cowboys traded DT Osa Odighizuwa to the 49ers for a third-round pick.

The Cowboys were reportedly open to listening to offers for Odighizuwa, who now finds a home with a 49ers team looking to increase their ability to generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Odighizuwa has registered 216 tackles and 17.0 sacks in five seasons in Dallas. It was thought to be difficult to deal the veteran considering he recently signed a four-year, $80 million extension prior to the 2025 season, but the two sides got it done.

Ben Sims

Dolphins signed TE Ben Sims, formerly of the Vikings, to a one-year contract.

The move reunites Sims with new Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley, who previously served as the Packers’ defensive coordinator. Sims, 25, signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He was waived at the end of the preseason and signed by the Packers. He remained a Packer through 2024 before signing on with the Vikings once again in 2025. Through three pro seasons, Sims has caught 11-of-14 targets for 93 yards and one touchdown.

Claudin Cherelus

The Athletic’s Joe Person reports that LB Claudin Cherelus did not receive a restricted tender from the Panthers, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Cherelus, 27, functioned as a rotational pass rusher last season, notching just two quarterback pressures and 20 solo tackles. Cherelus missed significant time after suffering a concussion in November and also sat out in Week 18 after injuring his foot and ankle.

Alex Austin

MIA Cornerback #28
Dolphins agreed to terms with CB Alex Austin, formerly of the Patriots, on a one-year contract.

The financials of the deal were not immediately made available. Austin, a special teams ace and depth piece in the secondary, made six starts across 29 appearances during his three-year NFL career, registering eight pass breakups and one interception. He’ll presumably battle for snaps on a roster currently with eight unrestricted free agents in the secondary, alone.

Dallas Goedert

The Athletic’s Zach Berman reports the Eagles have pushed back Dallas Goedert’s void date to Friday.

Goedert was set to become a free agent, but the sides are trying to hammer out a new deal. All but traded by the Eagles last year, a deal never quite came to fruition, and then 30-year-old Goedert had one of his best overall campaigns. With A.J. Brown’s Eagles future remaining up in the air, losing Goedert could be a luxury the Eagles can no longer afford. The fact that Goedert has willingly pushed back the date strongly suggests an agreement will get done.

Patriots agreed to terms with S Mike Brown, formerly of the Titans.

Brown played under now-Pats head coach Mike Vrabel with the Titans in 2023. He appeared in nine games this past season and saw most of his run on special teams. Brown will be fighting for a roster spot in New England during the summer.

Julian Hill

Patriots agreed to terms with TE Julian Hill, formerly of the Dolphins.

Hill primarily served as a blocker in Miami. He caught 15 passes for 140 yards and has yet to catch a touchdown through three NFL seasons. He will take on some of the blocking duties left behind by Austin Hooper, who is now with the Falcons.

Adam Prentice

DEN Fullback #46

Broncos re-signed FB Adam Prentice to a one-year contract.

A former “Sean Payton Saint,” Prentice made his way to Denver last season where he spent the full year serving as lead blocker. Nothing is ever easy for a fullback, but re-upping at this point of the offseason suggests Prentice should be able to maintain his 53-man roster spot.
