The Barry University (Miami Shores) product began off 10 tee and ticked five birdies at 15, 2, 5, 6 and 9, the latter from 9'3", his longest par-breaking effort and longest putt holed. On nine (of 14) fairways and 13 greens in regulation, he posted 0.100 SG: Off-the-Tee, 2.769 SG: Approach, 0.644 SG: Around, and 0.834 SG: Putting. This is the Canadian’s third time this season in 17 events that he’s in the top 10 after 18 holes and his highest position on the R1 leaderboard since leading the 2019 Sony Open by one during his rookie campaign after a career-low 9-under 61, ultimately finishing T43 (61-74-70-68). He owns two career top-10 finishes in 48 events, both this season, including a best of T7 at the Sony nine starts ago, where he was T9 after 18 holes (64-67-65-67).
