There were eight games scheduled for Sunday but COVID has reared its ugly head once again and four games have been postponed. There is always the likelihood that more games could be postponed closer to start time so it is incumbent upon you to keep checking as if a player is selected from a team that has had a game postponed, your score will be zero.
NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.
Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check NBCSports Edge’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.
Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 2W, 2D, 2UTIL, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL). Yahoo has a $200 cap for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are four games in the NHL on Sunday.
Forwards
Sidney Crosby (Pittsburgh), C - $8,000 (FanDuel), $8,500 (Draft Kings), $31 (Yahoo)
After a slow return to action as Crosby underwent wrist surgery in September and missed the start of the season, Crosby has points in nine of his last ten games and now has 18 points in 17 contests. He has had multi-point games in four of his last six as well.
Vladimir Tarasenko (St. Louis), W - $7,300 (FanDuel), $6,800 (Draft Kings), $24 (Yahoo)
Tarasenko has returned to his old self, after a couple of injury-plagued seasons. He has 11 goals and 28 points in 30 games and has three goals and five points in his last two games. He still appears to want out of St. Louis and the way he has been playing will ensure a hefty price tag if he is ever traded.
Anders Lee (NY Islanders), W - $5,500 (FanDuel), $4,700 (Draft Kings), $15 (Yahoo)
Lee also got off to a slow start after having knee surgery last season that ended his year. He finally picked up his first assist of the season on Thursday and it only took him 20 games to do so, but he does have eight goals including four in his last five contests.
Bargain Bin: Chandler Stephenson (Vegas), C $6,300 (FanDuel), $4,600 (Draft Kings), $20 (Yahoo), Evan Rodrigues (Pittsburgh), C/W $6,100 (FanDuel), $6,300 (Draft Kings), $20 (Yahoo), Brandon Saad (St. Louis), W $5,000 (FanDuel) $3,900 (Draft Kings), $15 (Yahoo), Adrian Kempe (Los Angeles), W $4,600 (FanDuel), $3,700 (Draft Kings), $15 (Yahoo)

Defensemen:
Dougie Hamilton (New Jersey), $6,400 (FanDuel), $7,500 (Draft Kings), $23 (Yahoo)
Hamilton has been slumping of late with only one assist in his last seven games and a minus-nine rating in his last four. But overall, the talented defenseman has six goals and 16 points in 26 games this season, his first in New Jersey after inking a seven-year/$63 million deal in the off-season.
John Carlson (Washington), $6,300 (FanDuel), $7,400 (Draft Kings), $23 (Yahoo)
Carlson is having a typical John Carlson season with six goals and 26 points in 30 games. That is closed to his average from the previous four seasons where he had 257 points in 283 contests. The Capitals top offensive blueliner also has three goals and eight points on the Capitals power play this season.
Bargain Bin:
Noah Dobson (NY Islanders), $4,900 (FanDuel), $5,100 (Draft Kings), $17 (Yahoo), Neal Pionk (Winnipeg), $4,700 (FanDuel), $5,400 (Draft Kings), $17 (Yahoo), Zach Whitecloud (Vegas), $4,600 (FanDuel), $3,500 (Draft Kings), $17 (Yahoo)
Goaltenders:
Tristan Jarry (Pittsburgh), $8,400 (FanDuel), $8,100 (Draft Kings), $38 (Yahoo)
Jarry enters the game on a four-game winning streak, giving up no more than two goals in any of the wins. Overall, he is 14-5-4 with a sensational 1.92 GAA and a .933 save percentage as he has been the backbone of the Penguins surprisingly good season. The Penguins face the Devils Sunday in what should be a good spot for Jarry.
Other plays:
