“Look, I certainly don’t expect to compete to win the tournament necessarily, but making the cut is something that I’m eyeing big time,” the 40-year-old Fish told media on Tuesday. “Look at some of the scores of the past and I don’t know, it seems fairly doable score-wise, but then you’ve got to get out there and actually play. I’m confident in my game, I know I can -- I’ve worked really hard the past couple months to kind of get myself into this type of golf shape.” Fish, who won six tournaments on the ATP Tour and reached the finals in four Masters Series events, has played in celebrity golf events including the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe, where he finished sixth, and the celebrity division of the ClubCorp Classic in Irving, Texas, in April, which he won in a playoff. He also won the 2021 Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions celebrity event.
