7yMark Carnevale has been added to the published field of this week’s True South Classic.

The one-time PGA TOUR winner started the week no higher than 20th alternate, but like last year, he rose all the way into the bubble. Now 52 years of age, he hasn’t cashed on the circuit since the Canadian Open in 2001.

7yMark Carnevale withdrew during his second round of the True South Classic, citing heat exhaustion.

Carnevale was 10-over-par through 11 holes and 18-over for the tournament when he walked off.

7yMark Carnevale was added to the published field of this week’s Viking Classic.

Carnevale began the week as the 19th alternate, but gained entry after two withdrawals this afternoon. The 51-year-old has one win on the PGA TOUR (in 1992), and hasn’t played the circuit since missing the cut in Milwaukee in 2005. He last made a cut on the circuit at the John Deere Classic in 2002.
