Woods secures 74th career victory at AT&T National

BETHESDA, Md. – Tiger Woods now only looks up at one man standing between him and the all-time PGA Tour wins record.

Woods won for the 74th time in his PGA Tour career on Sunday, taking the AT&T National for a second time by two shots over Bo Van Pelt. Woods closed with 2-under 69 at Congressional CC to beat Bo Van Pelt at 8 under par.

Woods and Van Pelt were tied at 8 under after 11 holes, matching scores until Van Pelt made bogey at the par-4 17th to Woods’ par.

A par at the last from Woods sealed the win. His 74th win has him eight wins from tying Sam Snead for most wins of all time.

Adam Scott finished alone in third at 5 under par after shooting 67 on Sunday.

Robert Garrigus, Seung-yul Noh, Jhonattan Vegas and Billy Hurley III were tied for fourth at 4 under par.
