U.S. Senior Open 2026: How to watch, TV/stream info, field, location, preview, prize money, cut

The 46th edition of the U.S. Senior Open will begin Thursday, July 1 at Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio, with Padraig Harrington returning to defend his championship.

One of five major championships on the PGA Tour Champions, the U.S. Senior Open also will have a field that includes 2025 runner-up Stewart Cink and World Golf Hall of Famers Ernie Els and Retief Goosen, who each won two U.S. Opens.

NBC Sports and Golf Channel analyst Notah Begay III will also play in the tournament after earning a spot through final qualifying.

The conclusions of the third and fourth rounds will be televised on NBC and Peacock.

How to watch the 2026 U.S. Senior Open

The tournament will be broadcast across the Golf Channel, NBCSN (on YouTubeTV) and NBC and will stream on Peacock. The Peacock streams will line up with broadcast windows on NBCSN and NBC.

The NBC broadcast team is Dan Hicks (play by play), Brad Faxon (analyst), Peter Jacobsen (analyst), Jim “Bones” Mackay (on course), Roger Maltbie (on course) and Cara Banks (interviews).

Where is the 2026 U.S. Senior Open being played?

The 2026 U.S. Senior Open will take place at Scioto Country Club, on a 7,170-yard, par-70 course in Columbus, Ohio.

On the way to winning a record 18 major tournaments, Columbus native Jack Nicklaus learned to play golf at Scioto Country Club under the tutelage of teaching pro Jack Grout.

Scioto Country Club also played host to the U.S. Senior Open in 1986 (won by Dale Douglass) and 2016 (Gene Sauers) as well as the 1926 U.S. Open (won by Bob Jones) and the 1950 PGA Championship (Chandler Harper)
