Beljan is no longer a full-time player. He was set to make his second start of the season but has played just 10 total events, with one payday since the start of the 2019-20 campaign. The 37-year-old was likely far off the fantasy radar this week but gamers should remove him from any consideration now that he’s backed out.

Reed has been quiet in 2022 but did flash some form with a T7 at the Charles Schwab Challenge recently. His runner-up finish at the Bermuda Championship is still holding his season afloat, currently 61st in the FedExCup race. Overall, he’s piled up just three top 25s this season which is well behind the pace of 12 which is the lowest he’s filed in a single season since 2014. Gamers should remove Reed from all weekly fantasy rosters.

McLachlin was making his fourth start of the season this season. He missed the cut in his first three. The UCLA alum opened with a 15-over 87 and did not give it a go on Friday, due to a foot injury. McLachlin is now 2-for-20 since the start of the 2020 campaign. It’s safe, and has been safe for a while, to keep him off your fantasy radar.

This is the 42-year-old’s third mid-tourney WD in 150 events, first since the 2010 Reno-Tahoe Open. Beginning off No. 10 tee, he scribbled down two pars and seven bogeys and called it quits from there at 15-over total after an opening 8-over 79 (1 birdie, 5 bogeys, 2 doubles). The Honolulu native owns one PGA TOUR win among four top 10s, the 2008 Legends Reno-Tahoe Open as a 36- and 54-hole leader during his second season. A spot-starter to fill fields since his fully exempt status ran out after the 2010 season (225th in FedExCup standings), he checked in 1-for-5 on the season, posting a 71st (last) at the Corales in March in his prior start (71-74-80-77).

The native Hawaiian was given the final sponsor exemption into the field. He’s 2-for-6 at the event with a T10 in 2008. McLachlin has Past Champion status on the PGA TOUR and isn’t worth a fantasy investment. One other change in the field: Peter Tomasulo withdrew as the first alternate.

This will be McLachlin’s first start since a wrist injury bumped him from the Quail Hollow Championship after one round. He’s cashed in just three of 10 starts this season, none of which for a top 50.

The last time we saw the one-time winner, he called it quits due to a wrist injury before his second round at Quail Hollow, where he opened with an 88. He closed out his opening 67 in Irving this morning after sitting at 2-under through 14 holes when darkness suspended play on Thursday. It’s his lowest aggregate since he began the Waste Management Phoenix Open with the same score. He went to place T53, which is his best finish in 10 starts this season.

McLachlin has local knowledge on his side but is just 2-for-8 at Waialae Country Club. He’s packed his bag early each of his last four trips to Oahu. The highlight of his Sony Open career is clearly the T10 which took place during the 2008 edition. Last year he posted an 0-for-3 record on the PGA TOUR, and can safely be avoided in all fantasy formats this week.

McLachlin has one PGA TOUR win in 112 career starts, claiming the title at the 2008 Legends Reno-Taho Open by a whopping seven strokes. He played out his exemption through the 2009 and 2010 seasons, but has made just eight TOUR starts since 2011, last seen on the main tour missing the cut at the 2013 Reno-Tahoe Open. The 36-year-old has played one event on the Web.com Tour in 2014 and one in 2015, making an early departure from both, including in his latest start at the Colombia Championship back in February.

The 36-year-old is 2-for-7 at Waialae Country Club with one top 10 (T10/2008). He’s missed the cut in each of his previous three visits, including his latest attempt back in 2012. The former PGA TOUR member has one TOUR win in 114 career starts, claiming victory at the 2008 Legends Reno-Tahoe Open by seven strokes. He made just three starts across all tours in 2015, including two opposite-field events on the PGA TOUR, posting a T61 at the Barbasol and a missed cut 23 weeks ago at the Barracuda Championship in his most recent action.
