Until today, the Aussie had cashed in just three of 15 starts to rank 195th on the money list. He landed 17 greens at CordeValle today en route to an eagle and six birdies. He ended his round by covering the flagstick at the par-5 ninth and then converted the 40-inch eagle attempt. Prior to that, his birdies included conversions of 24'11", 14'9" and 14'6" at the 13th, 17th and second holes, respectively. Naturally, he bogeyed the only hole where he missed the green in regulation -- the par-3 11th. Today’s 64 is his lowest score in 36 stroke-play rounds this season. He was the last to finish the second round inside the top 10 on the leaderboard.
