Commanders signed Michigan State EDGE Jacub Panasiuk.
Panasiuk (6'3/253) is coming off his best season with career-highs in sacks (7), tackles (37), and tying his career-high in TFLs (11). He was named second-team All-Big Ten. Panasiuk gets off the line well and has incredible footwork and violent hands, allowing him to finish fifth in the FBS for most pressures in 2021 (73) and tied for fourth with 41 hurries. He needs to improve his athleticism, especially when attacking more elusive backs in the run game, and he’s a little small for a 3-4 defense five-technique or strong-side end in a 4-3.
