    Petricka latched on with the Twins on a minor league contract back in late March and didn’t end up making it to the big leagues this season in Minnesota. The 34-year-old veteran righty, who made seven relief appearances last year for the Angels, posted a 4.18 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 22/8 K/BB ratio across 23 2/3 innings (21 appearances) for Triple-A St. Paul.

    Petricka, 33, last appeared in the majors with the Brewers back in 2019. He’ll report to Triple-A Salt Lake and function as organizational relief depth for the Angels, but could wind up in their major-league bullpen at some point later this summer.
