Andreoli

Andreoli will bolster the injury-depleted Twins’ organizational outfield depth at Triple-A St. Paul. The 31-year-old veteran outfielder appeared in seven games last year with the Padres and is hitting just .154/.335/.260 with two homers and six steals in 136 plate appearances this season at Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Andreoli appeared in seven games for the Padres last season and holds an underwhelming .224/.284/.269 triple-slash line with zero homers and two steals across 74 plate appearances in 33 major-league contests since 2018. The 31-year-old journeyman will bolster the Phillies’ outfield depth at Triple-A Lehigh Valley this upcoming season.

Andreoli went 1-for-6 with three strikeouts during his short stay on San Diego’s major league roster.

Andreoli signed a minor league deal with the Red Sox over the winter. He saw a little time in the majors with the Mariners and Orioles in 2018 before spending all of 2019 at the Triple-A level.

Andreoli hit .255/.389/.449 with 16 homers and 12 steals at the Triple-A level in 2019. The 29-year-old will provide outfield depth for the Red Sox.

The 28-year-old outfielder struggled in his time with Triple-A Rochester, slashing .196/.324/.359 in his 43 games. He’ll report to Triple-A Tacoma where he’ll function as outfield depth for the Mariners.

Andreoli has another new organization after being waived and claimed by several teams this spring. He’ll be organizational depth for the Twins in 2019, and despite possessing quality speed, won’t offer much fantasy value if/when he gets a promotion.

Andreoli finally slipped through waivers on the fourth try this winter. He still should have a chance of making the Giants with a big spring, but he just doesn’t have much in the way of real world upside. For fantasy purposes, he’d be a little interesting as a regular, since he possesses 25-steal ability.

Well, that didn’t last long. Andreoli was just claimed off waivers from the Rangers last week, but the Giants needed to clear a spot for the newly-acquired Jake Barrett on the 40-man roster. Andreoli could soon be with his fifth team since October.

Andreoli has now gone from the Orioles to the Mariners to the Rangers and now to the Giants via the waiver process this offseason. San Francisco has arguably the worse group of outfielders in baseball, so the 28-year-old should have a good shot to crack the Opening Day roster.
