The Dodgers are bringing in Rocco Baldelli as a special assistant to Andrew Friedman.
Baldelli will return to front office work after seven years managing the Twins. He also spent time as a special assistant with the Rays under Friedman before moving into coaching. It wouldn’t be a surprise if this is a brief stop for Baldelli, as he figures to be a candidate for more managerial jobs going forward.
