Phillies acquired OF Junior Marin and cash considerations from the Royals for RHP James McArthur.
McArthur was designated for assignment, so the Phillies at least got something in return. The 19-year-old Marin has posted some good numbers so far, but he’s only played in the Dominican Summer League and the Complex League. He has a long way to go.
