Brewers took outfielder Kentrail Davis 39th, RHP Kyle Heckathorn 47th, outfielder Max Walla 73rd and catcher Cameron Garfield 74th.
Davis, a draft-eligible sophomore, is considered a tough sign and fell accordingly. It’s hard to imagine the Brewers signing all four of these guys along with first-round Eric Arnett, but if they do, they’ll have added an awful lot of talent. Walla, a short lefty, has a very intruging bat, though he’s not a tools guy at all, and Garfield likely would have gone higher if this draft wasn’t particularly deep in catchers.
