Anthony Andro of FOX Sports Southwest reports that Chris Snyder has retired, ending a ten-year career in the Major Leagues.

Snyder, 33, signed a minor league deal with the Rangers at the end of March after being released by the Nationals. He reported to Triple-A Round Rock but could only muster a .238/.360/.286 line over 25 plate appearances.

Snyder retires with 467 hits, 77 home runs, and 298 RBI in his big league career. He spent most of his time with the Diamondbacks, but also played with the Pirates, Orioles, and Astros.
