ESPN signs Jessica Mendoza to a multi-year extension

The other day we learned that ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball will begin an hour earlier starting next season. Now we learn that Jessica Mendoza will be in the booth for the next several.The Associated Press reports that Mendoza signed a multiyear extension with ESPN.

Mendoza became the first female analyst for a nationally televised MLB game back in 2015 and became a full-time analyst for the broadcast the following season. She has been with the network since 2007.
