Baltimore’s rotation will get a boost Wednesday, with left-hander Wei-Yin Chen set to come off the disabled list and start against Texas.
Chen has been out for the past two months with a strained oblique muscle, but pitched very well before the injury and has a 3.83 ERA in 40 career starts since signing with the Orioles last season.
In addition to getting Chen back the Orioles also just acquired Scott Feldman from the Cubs, so there’s been some speculation that they could go to a six-man rotation, at least temporarily.
