Tony Delmonico homered twice, tripled and walked twice for low Single-A Great Lakes on Thursday.
Delmonico, a 2008 sixth-round pick, is going to try catching this year after playing shortstop at Florida State. He’s probably ready for high Single-A offensively, but since he is learning a new position, the Dodgers won’t be quick to promote him.
