Andrew Bynum’s agent, David Lee, says he’s not sure when his client will pick a team.
Bynum met with the Hawks on Tuesday and is slated to meet with the Mavs later this week. He also has a two-year, $24 million offer on the table from the Cavs, although the second year is a team option. Cleveland reportedly is pushing Bynum to make a decision, but it doesn’t sound like Lee has any idea when that will happen. It will be interesting to see if Cleveland moves on while Bynum continues other options.

The Lakers are talking about hiring Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to tutor their big men.
Chuck Nevitt must not have been available. Actually, we can’t think of anyone better to teach Andrew Bynum the ropes. This seems like a good opportunity for Rotoworld to share a great quote from Nevitt when he played at N.C. State. ''My sister’s expecting a baby, and I don’t know if I’m going to be an uncle or an aunt.’' (explaining to Coach Jim Valvano why he appeared nervous at practice, circa 1982).

Kobe Bryant hit just 7-of-24 shots from the field (0-for-3 from deep, 10-of-11 from the foul line) with six rebounds, three assists, and a steal in the Lakers’ 100-85 loss to the Thunder on Thursday.
This is the type of game the Lakers fall short in, with the All Star break around the corner and older players wanting to rest their bones. What isn’t to be dismissed is the Lakers’ need for another playmaker, though, as the offense is stagnant and looks a lot like failed versions of yesteryears’ past. Pau Gasol scored 22 points with nine boards, three assists, and a steal, and Andrew Bynum went for 14 and 12 with two blocks in the loss.

Andrew Bynum will receive a Synvisc injection in his right knee on Friday and remains on track to play in the All-Star game.
Bynum made it through the first half healthy and wants to ensure he stays on the court. Dr. David Altcheck will perform the injection, and Synvisc is a natural substance that serve as as a lubricant. Owners have no reason to worry here and Bynum will pick back up out of the break with impressive averages of 16.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 2.0 blocks on 55.4 percent shooting.

Andrew Bynum said that the Synvisc injection that he will receive on Friday is a preventative measure.
Bynum compared the injection to “putting oil on a creaky hinge.” He said he is experiencing “a little pain,” but it doesn’t sound like there is anything to worry about, especially if he plays in the All-Star Game, as planned, on Sunday night.

Andrew Bynum played 34 minutes on Wednesday, finishing with 13 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks in an easy win over the Timberwolves.
Bynum left the All-Star Game early due to knee soreness, but looked great tonight. It looks like a crisis has been avoided.

Andrew Bynum (knee) confirmed that he came out of Wednesday’s 104-85 win over the Timberwolves without any complications.
“My knee feels really, really good right now,” he said. Bynum looked great with 13 points, 13 boards and three blocks in 34 minutes on Wednesday night. He’s turned into the Matthew Stafford of the fantasy hoops season.

The Lakers will exercise their team contract option on Andrew Bynum for the 2012-13 season.
In other news, the sky remains blue. This is a no-brainer the way Bynum has played this season, and the big man is averaging a ridiculous 24 points and 13.1 rebounds on 65.7 percent shooting in March. Los Angeles will likely look to work out a long-term extension with Bynum as long as he can stay healthy at some point in the future.

Coach Mike Brown said that Andrew Bynum was “great” in Wednesday’s practice.
This is noteworthy because Bynum was benched on Tuesday for taking an ill-advised 3-pointer and lacking defensive effort. We’d expect that to be water under the bridge come Thursday night’s home showdown with Thunder. Barring another silly 3-point attempt, we’d expect a full complement of minutes for Bynum.

Andrew Bynum was ejected for getting two technical fouls in the Lakers’ 112-107 loss to the Rockets on Friday, and finished with 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting, seven rebounds, two blocks, and five turnovers in 30 minutes.
Bynum got his first tech for skirmishing with Samuel Dalembert and his second for taunting the Rockets bench early in the fourth quarter. We’ve heard reports that he’s an intelligent guy, but his attitude is garbage. All kidding aside, DeMarcus Cousins has a much better attitude right now than both Bynum and Dwight Howard -- and it’s not even close.
