The Mavericks have waived Andy Rautins.
This was an expected move. He’ll look to latch on with another team at the end of the bench but will not provide any fantasy value.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #15
Andy Rautins has signed with Lucentum Alicante in Spain.
Rautins was waived by Dallas after the team acquired him from the Knicks and should have a much better chance of finding both steady playing time and success overseas.
  • NBA Center #19
The Knicks have completed a three-team deal with Dallas and Washington that will send C Tyson Chandler to the Knicks, F/C Ronny Turiaf to the Wizards and G Andy Rautins to the Mavericks.
The Knicks will send Turiaf, a 2013 second-round pick and cash to Wizards for Chandler and the rights to Ahmad Nivins and Giorgos Printezis. The Mavs get Andy Rautins and a protected 2012 second-round pick from the Wizards. Chandler will join Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony on the front line for the Knicks, and will provide a much-needed defensive presence.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #15
Andy Rautins will be sent to the Mavericks in the Tyson Chandler sign-and-trade, but will be bought out by Dallas.
Rautins should catch on with another team but isn’t going to offer fantasy value.
  • Power Forward #33
The Thunder waived Daniel Orton, Andy Rautins and Hollis Thompson on Saturday.
Orton was widely viewed as one of the most talented big men in the 2010 draft, but his career has yet to get off the ground. Thompson and Rautins are also unlikely to crack a rotation this year.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #15
Updating a previous item, Thunder sign G Andy Rautins.
Rautins had a cup of coffee with Knicks in 2010 and was traded to the Mavericks in the Tyson Chandler deal last season, although he never suited up for Dallas before they waived him. He can shoot it, but is only a training camp body for the Thunder.
  • FA Shooting Guard #31
Hollis Thompson and Andy Rautins signed with the Tulsa 66ers.
It’s the Oklahoma City Thunder’s D-League team, and neither player was claimed off waivers after OKC cut both before the season began. They’ll accrue minutes in the D-League and hope for a call-up at some point.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #15
Andy Rautins “is expected” to join the Thunder’s training camp roster.
Rautins was originally drafted by the Knicks in 2010, but he was eventually traded to the Mavs in the Tyson Chandler sign-and-trade deal before Dallas immediately waived him. He’ll look to latch on in OKC, but he’s got an uphill mountain to climb to make the final roster despite playing for the Thunder in summer league.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #15
The Raptors waived G Andy Rautins, C Kennedy Meeks and F Kyle Wiltjer.
Despite a “culture change” in Toronto, the Raptors won’t keep Rautins and his range from deep. The Canadian is probably headed overseas.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #15
The Raptors signed Andy Rautins to a camp deal.
The Raptors only have 13 guaranteed deals, so it’s possible he could make the roster. Furthermore, there is a lot of buzz on the Raptors wanting to add more 3-pointers to their offensive game plan, so the 30-year-old Canadian is in a decent spot to appeal to the coaching staff. Regardless, he still has some serious work to do to make the team.
