Kyle Guy posted a solid line with 16 points on 5-of-16 shooting (3-of-8 3-pointers) with seven rebounds, five assists, one steal, and three turnovers, but the Warriors lost to the Lakers 84-76 on Tuesday evening.
Guy showed some promise early in his career with Sacramento and is now looking to breathe new life back into his young career. With the log jam at the guard spot in Golden State, it isn’t likely that this will happen there, but perhaps some team will take a flyer on Guy. One guy who will be suiting up for Golden State is Moses Moody, who had a pedestrian outing scoring 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting (2-of-7 3-pointers) with two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 24 minutes. Justinian Jessup led the Warriors squad in scoring with 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting (4-of-7 3-pointers) and added three rebounds, one assist, and one block.

Justinian Jessup was drafted by the Warriors with the 51st pick in the draft.
Most draft-and-stash players gained their experience playing professionally overseas, but that wasn’t the case for Jessup. The Colorado native played four seasons at Boise State, averaging 16.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.5 blocks and 3.1 3-pointers per game. Jessup shot 39.7 percent from three as a senior, which along with the fact that he’ll play in Australia next season was a selling point for NBA teams. The Warriors will watch his development from a distance.
