The Celtics signed undrafted guard Lamont “MoMo” Jones on Thursday, a 23-year-old who averaged 22.6 points in his senior year with Iona.
Jones plays like a combo guard but his 6'0" height ensures that he’ll be cast as a point guard when he tries out for Boston during Summer League. The Celtics are in a brave new world without Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, but MoMo is still a longshot to make the roster.
