The pundits say this year’s version of the Denver Nuggets is a team without a superstar. Try telling that to Andre Miller, who put in an especially dominant performance to lift the Nuggets to a 97-95 win over the Warriors in Game 1 of their first round playoff matchup.
Miller scored 18 of his game high 28 points in the fourth quarter, and got to the rim to convert the game-winning layup with the score tied and just 1.3 seconds remaining.
Not a bad guy to have as your backup point guard, right?
Miller was on the floor for just 27 minutes, but finished shooting 11-of-16 from the field to go along with five assists, while playing essentially the entire fourth quarter alongside Ty Lawson in the backcourt.
