Going into Saturday night, the Suns had lost 15 of their last 16 games since December 20 and dealt with some well-documented turmoil. Which made what happened on Saturday all the more needed, from a morale standpoint: Archie Goodwin beat the Hawks with a three-pointer that went in with one-tenth of a second remaining.

It was just the Suns’ 13th win of the season, but after all the losing of the past month, it was sorely needed.
