The Bucks might have to update their custom lottery balls.

Actually, if all goes well, they’ll make the playoffs and skip the lottery. But the way they’ve sunk the second half of the season, don’t completely rule out Milwaukee blowing its three-game cushion for postseason position.

About the logo.

That would match this message-board post (hat tip: Conrad Burry):

One of the regulars where my friend bartends sells merch at the Bradley Center. Yesterday, they apparently stocked a shirt with the one of the Bucks’ new logos. No word on whether or not it’s the primary, but here’s what they described:

-Roundel featuring a Buck that looks similar to the current one, but “angrier.”

-Green & Cream... no other colors.

-Reminded them of something a microbrewery would use.

For reference, here’s the Bucks’ current logo:

I’m not a huge fan of the potential update.

I like the new colors (green and tan vs. green and red) and the font (classic vs. tacky metallic).

But making the deer angrier doesn’t do much for me. Why has making an animal more ferocious become the go-to logo change?
