LeBron James regretted not entering previous dunk contests

LeBron James has infamously never competed in the dunk contest, claiming to be an in-game dunker.

He has come close to entering before, but prior to the 2013 event, he said he was too old for it.

That seemed to close the book on LeBron and the dunk contest.

LeBron in an interview with Dwyane Wade (yup, really):

It’s been some years where I said I was going to do it and didn’t do it. And then actually watching the dunk contest, I was mad at myself, because I believe it would have been great.

Now, at this point, I’m over the hill now. You ain’t going to see my no time soon. It’s over with.

LeBron, it’s not too late!

Look what you were doing just last year:

Before this season, you claimed you were still young enough to “fly above the rim.”

Enter the 2016 dunk contest before it’s really too late. Don’t end your career with this regret.
