Last week, a report surfaced that Dwane Casey would return as Raptors head coach next season, albeit with some changes on his staff. Those changes have now begun to take place, according to CBS Sports’ Ken Berger:
Bayno is a coaching lifer who has been in the NBA for most of the last 10 years, including stints as an assistant with the Portland Trail Blazers, Minnesota Timberwolves and his most recent stay in Toronto. Meanwhile, don’t expect this to be the last Raptors assistant to be let go before the offseason is through. Masai Ujiri may be keeping Casey around, but the roster and Casey’s staff will likely look drastically different next season.UPDATE: Berger tweets that Tom Sterner, another of Casey’s assistants, is out.
