Dwyane Wade is trying really, really hard to make sure everyone knows it’s possible that he could leave Miami. After talks about a new deal broke down, he’s starting to field outside offers from other teams. According to ESPN.com’s Brian Windhorst, Wade has talked to the Knicks and Bucks.

Wade’s primary concern? Money. ESPN.com’s Ramona Shelburne reports that those around Wade say he wants to make up for the pay cuts he’s given the Heat in recent years.

Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Wade has a meeting set up with the Bucks for next week.

Wade does have a Milwaukee connection, having played college basketball at Marquette. But it’s hard not to feel like all of this is posturing, and once the Heat miss out on Kevin Durant, they’ll get a deal done with Wade to keep him with the only franchise he’s ever played for.
