With the game on the line, I’m not sure Dave Joerger’s first thought was “I want Bogdan Bogdanovic to isolate against reigning Defensive Player of the Year Draymond Green.”
But it worked.
Bogdanovic had the ball in his hands, and off a high pick the Warriors switched and put Green on him, a matchup Golden State will take. So will Bogdanovic, who was simply better on this play.
We are obligated to point out the Warriors were without Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, but down the stretch the Kings made the plays, enough to get the win.
