The four-year point guard out of Old Dominion scored 22.1 points per game for the Monarchs last year. Freeman was undrafted following his senior 2015-16 season. He’s got his hands full to make the Pistons.

Freeman was never expected to make the final roster. It’s possible he winds up with Detroit’s D-League affiliate if he passes through waivers unclaimed as expected.
