Viktor Khryapa entered Wednesday’s game in the first quarter and played meaningful minutes for the second consecutive game. He scored 11 points on 5-for-6 shooting in 15 minutes on Tuesday.
“Viktor’s a versatile player,” coach Jim Boylan said of the rarely used forward. “He can play-make, he can shoot, he’s got some good size, he’s got some good experience from his international play. We’ll continue to look at him and see if he can help.’' Once Luol Deng returns, Andres Nocioni should shift back to a bench role, and Khryapa will continue to struggle for playing time. He should only be considered in super-deep leagues.
