Dolphins signed P Bradley Pinion, formerly of the Falcons.
Pinion spent the last three years in Atlanta. The Dolphins are adding competition for Seth Vernon, the other punter on their roster. Pinion also operates as a kickoff specialist, which could give him the edge over Vernon for their inevitable camp battle.
  • ARI Tight End #85
Cardinals signed TE Teagan Quitoriano, formerly of the Falcons, to a one-year contract.
Quitoriano appeared in all 17 games for the Falcons last year but did not record any offensive statistics. The bulk of his offensive snaps came as a blocker. In total, he played primarily on special teams, logging 239 snaps on that side of the ball. Hen is likely in line for a similar role in Arizona.
  • ATL Cornerback #24
Falcons restructured CB A.J. Terrell’s contract.
According to KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, the Falcons converted $12 million of Terrell’s salary for next season into a $12 million signing bonus, lowering his 2026 salary to $3 million. Terrell is under contract through the 2028 season and appeared in 15 games for the Falcons last season, totaling 68 tackles and 12 pass breakups while earning a PFF coverage grade of 57.3.
  • ATL Defensive Lineman #91
Falcons signed DT Da’Shawn Hand, formerly of the Chargers, to a one-year, $3 million contract.
Hand, 30, has played for four other teams over the course of his career. His 17 quarterback pressures and two sacks are the most since his 2018 rookie season with the Lions. He also totaled 18 solo tackles and five TFLs. The latter figure ties for a career high.
  • ATL Quarterback
Falcons GM Ian Cunningham sad “there are no starters right now” when asked about the team’s quarterback situation.
This comes a few days after it was reported by NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe that the Falcons would have “an open competition” at QB between Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix. Of course, with Penix recovering from a torn ACL, it’s still unknown whether or not he will be able to compete for the job by the time camp rolls around. Tagovaila figures to have the inside edge on winning the QB1 role based on where things stand right now, but that could change if Penix is healthy by the time camp starts. Regardless of who wins the QB1 job, we would expect Tagovailoa and Penix to both make multiple starts in 2026.
  • PHI EDGE #47
Eagles signed EDGE Arnold Ebiketie, formerly of the Falcons, to a one-year, $7.3 million contract.
The contract includes $4.3 million in financial guarantees. Ebiketie spent the last four seasons with the Falcons after they drafted him in the 2022 NFL Draft’s second round. He totaled 25 quarterback pressures, two sacks, 24 solo tackles and seven TFLs last year. He now joins a talented Eagles defense.
  • ATL Defensive End #27
ESPN’s Marc Raimondi reports that Falcons EDGE James Pearce is being charged with 3 felonies and one misdemeanor.
Pearce’s felony charges include “aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, fleeing and eluding police and resisting an officer with violence to his or her person.” His fourth arrest charge of felony aggravated stalking was changed to a misdemeanor. Per Raimondi, “Pearce allegedly followed the car of [WNBA player Rickea] Jackson, his ex-girlfriend, and repeatedly used his vehicle to collide with hers as she attempted to reach the Doral (Florida) police station.” A police chase allegedly ensued. After crashing his vehicle, Pearce fled on foot but was eventually caught and arrested. Pearce’s 2026 availability appears to be up in the air.
  • ATL Defensive End #52
Falcons signed DE Samson Ebukam, formerly of the Colts.
Ebukam led the Colts with 9.5 sacks back in 2023. He, unfortunately, ruptured an Achilles tendon during training camp in 2024 and was unable to play all season. In 2025, he sacked the quarterback three times and generated 23 quarterback pressures. At 30 years old, he may be best-suited to a rotational pass-rushing role.
  • ATL Defensive Lineman #94
    Falcons re-signed EDGE LaCale London.
London spent the first five years of his career bouncing between the practice squads and active rosters of the Bears and Falcons. He finally found a more permanent role in 2025 and appeared in 13 games for the Falcons, five of which were starts. London turned that into five sacks and one forced fumble.
  • BAL Offensive Lineman #52
Ravens agreed to terms with OG Jovaughn Gwynn, formerly of the Falcons, on a one-year contract.
Gwynn is following his former offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford to Baltimore. He spent the first three years of his career in Atlanta. Gwynn only took the field for 11 offensive snaps in 2025, but he was active for all 17 games and saw some run on special teams. He will be a depth option for the Ravens.
