Seahawks re-signed DT Brandon Pili to a one-year, $2 million contract.
Pili, 26, produced career-best marks with the Seahawks last season, notching 12 combined tackles, one TFL and three quarterback pressures. Retaining him provides the defense with a helpful, if unexciting, backup. He initially joined the team as a waiver wire pickup in November 2024. He began his career as an undrafted free agent with the Dolphins in 2023.
  • SEA Defensive Tackle #96
Seahawks claimed DL Brandon Pili off waivers from the Dolphins.
Pili played only 69 defensive snaps this year for the Dolphins as a rotational run-down lineman. The former USC DT has been buried deep on the Dolphins depth chart for the first two years of his pro career. He’ll get a crack at the same role for the Seahawks, who could desperately use someone to provide a positive boost in run defense.
  • SEA Nose Tackle #95
USC sophomore DT Brandon Pili is out for the remainder of Saturday’s game against Colorado.
Pili (6'4/325) needed medical attention and returned to the sideline in street clothes with his arm in a sling. The sophomore could be facing a multi-week absence unless the Trojans put his arm in a sling as a precaution.
