49ERS-CARDINALS ONE-LINERS

Cardinals QB Kurt Warner has thrown for 300 yards in three straight games and leads the NFL in passer rating. “I think guys are starting to take it upon themselves to say, ‘Let me in. I want to make the play.’ And they’re stepping up and doing it,” Warner said. “Man, it’s fun.” Said 49ers C Eric Heitmann, “That was definitely one of the most frustrating losses I can remember in my 15 or 16 years playing football.” The Cardinals’ goal-line stand at the end of the game sealed the win. Said 49ers RB Michael Robinson of the last play of the game, “I tried my hardest. It was one of those things where they made the play and we didn’t.” Said Cardinals WR Steve Breaston, “We’re very deep in our receiving crops, and as long as we keep making plays, we’re gonna move the ball.” Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said, “These are games you look back on and they make a huge difference for your football team.” The 49ers will try to turn it around against the Rams. Bad play calling killed the 49ers’ last chance. The 49ers used the Wildcat formation twice in the first half.
