Giants center Shaun O’Hara had a rough 2010 season, and he’s now having a rough offseason. Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPNNewYork.com reports that O’Hara underwent his second surgery since the season ended.

The first entailed the placement of screws in his foot to allow a ligament to heal following a Lisfranc injury. The second was aimed at cleaning out his left ankle and Achilles’ tendon.

“They basically told me I probably won’t start running until mid-May,” O’Hara said earlier this month, per Youngmisuk. “The one thing they assured me is I will be 100 percent healthy for training camp.”

The other thing of which O’Hara can be assured is that he’s pretty much on his own in rehab. Due to the lockout, every player who would rehab injuries at the team facility must find other arrangements.
