While it’s no surprise after they hired Aaron Kromer as their offensive coordinator/line coach, the Bears have now fired former offensive coordinator Mike Tice.

Tice, along with running backs coach Tim Spencer and offensive line coach Tim Holt were let go by new coach Marc Trestman, according to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Tice became one of the revolving coordinators in Chicago after Mike Martz was fired.

Trestman met with the incumbent coaches from Lovie Smith’s staff Thursday, when Tice was relieved of his duties.

Defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli elected to leave, and is expected to go to Dallas to work with his old boss Monte Kiffin.
