It looks like Saints coach Sean Payton will wind up owing his quarterback a bottle of wine.
Proving for the millionth time that reviews are overrated, Drew Brees’ book “Coming Back Stronger” debuted at No. 3 on the New York Times’ hardcover fiction bestseller list, five spots ahead of Payton’s well-received book from a week ago. (Payton’s book fell one spot to No. 9 in its second week.)
The two men wagered on who could move more copy, although book sales can often be a depressing national indicator of what people like.
In related news, Hank Baskett’s wife Kendra’s book “Sliding into Home” debuted at No. 4 this week.
