Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that free agent safety Darren Sharper will be among a group of players trying out for the Denver Broncos on Tuesday.

Sharper has been out of work since finishing last season with the Saints. Along with Roman Harper, Sharper was one of the primary culprits in New Orleans’ playoff loss to Seattle. Then-Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck threw for 272 yards and four touchdowns in the wild-card game.

Sharper turns 36 in November. The NFL seems to believe he has very little left in the tank.
